Vehicle Detail

1972 Camaro SS/RS Split Bumper NO RESERVE I am selling most of my project cars. I simply do not have enough time and due to a recent back injury, I seriously doubt I can continue my hobby as in years past, so I must sell them. So I pulled out all of my projects from the barns and on ebay they went, this is my last project..... I bought a 1972 SS/RS Camaro from a client of mine about 8 years ago. It was a rare car with the split bumper, with extremely low production numbers due to the strike that year. The guy stored it half in the weather and half out. The rear clip was rusty. However, I kept the NUMBERS MATCHING car, waiting for that perfect donor body so I could swap VIN and cowl tag. Eight years later that perfect body (if there is such a thing) finally came a long. I bought a garaged kept STRAIGHT RUST FREE body. I beleive it was a 1971, but that is no big deal. I would sya it is 99.99% rust free and straight, no monkey business. I beleive the owner said me made a couple small half dollar patches but that was it. It has been done long ago and primed and I could not find where he was talking about. SO what i have for sale is the COMPLETE front (seat forwards) section of the 1972 SS/RS with number matching motor [350] (short block already rebuilt and on an engine stand & heads are in my shop), numbers matching transmission and matching rear end. I have the complete interior. The console was a peice of crap, so you'll be better off buying a new one from Year-One. I also have the drive shaft. The cool part is the previous owner of the donor car totally rebuilt the front suspension and detailed and restored the front frame sub-section. The stabalizer bar is new and is HUGE! From what I could see it has all new suspension parts. That right there is worth 2K. I basically have everything to do the swap and you will have one rare car that is rust free and solid, ready for the paint booth! I took 40 + pictures so i will post as much as EBAY will allow. I don't hide anything. There is one spot where I took a close up od some bubbles are are just getting started, but that is the only hint of rust i could find! Look at the core support, and all the other close ups, what do they have in common? NO RUST. If you have questions (other than the what's the buy it now moron questions) I will gladly email you an answer and post it to my ad. I have bought scores of cars on ebay over the last EIGHT years and I have great feedback (I had 100% until recently a drunk dead b_at bidder didn't like being turned in to ebay for not paying-I am appealing) so bid with confidence. I will gladly store for up to a month, but after that i charge $5.00 a day. I strongly suggest you pick this up in person as there are a lot of parts and drivers are lazy and won't want to do it for you. I have a ton of extra parts that i will allow you to view and purchase at reasonable prices for the winning bidder they include (rust free hood, trunk lid, doors, original spoiler, bumpers, etc etc.....Now for the legal stuff..... Now for the legal stuff....ONLY SERIOUS bidders. If you have bad feedback, don't bid, I will cancel your bid. An immediate non-refundable deposit of $1,000 is due at the end of the auction , NO EXCEPTION. The balance due within 3 days, NO EXCEPTION. It may be easier to just pay all at once immediately, but I will leave that up to the buyer. Those who do not comply will be reported to ebay. This is not a game. I have sold a lot of my car collection already. Almost every buyer paid LATE and it is starting to torque me off. SO IF YOU CAN'T FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS OF MY AUCTION, DON'T BID!! The last buyer actually was a weenie and his wife told him he couldn't have it. So if you don't have your woman in check or your manhood intact, DON'T BID. Now, I am willing to store the car for up to a two weeks, then a $2.00 a day storage fee applies. I am nice guy with PERFECT FEEDBACK, and I like dealing with responsible ebayers! :) Good Luck and happy bidding!!
