You are bidding on a 1968 Cadillac Eldorado. The well distinguished gentleman's sports car of the era. Originally from Arizona, this car is rust free having spent it's life garaged. The condition is very nice. The option list includes, guide-matic headlamp control, twilight sentinel, cruise control, AM-FM stereo radio with power antenna, 6 way power bench seat, power front and rear window, trunk release and rear window defroster. The 1968 was the first year of the 472 CI engine which runs strong and is equipped with dual exhausts and 4barrel carburetor. 1968 was also the debut year for the hid-a-way windshield wipers and the signature square side view mirror. Many original items remain untouched on this fine example. The vinyl roof is in excellent shape. The wood trim is beautiful without cracks. The carpet has been replaced at some point. As well, the exterior appears to have been re-painted in original white and done rather well. The trunk is beautiful and original. The upholstery has been slip-covered in white vinyl and appears as if it may have been done along time ago and perhaps originally at the dealer. the original upholstery is just beneath waiting to be discovered. All Power and options work well, with the exception of the Cruise control. The hide-a-way headlight doors do not consistently operate and need some work. All other vacuum assist controls work including the automatic climate control. The heater blows HOT and the Air blows COLD!
