It's a 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Coupe with 50,800 miles. The black paint stays hand-washed by me with Meguiars Gold Class soap mixed with Optimum No Rinse, and has been buffed with Meguiars M105/M205 combo. It is currently wearing NXT 2.0 Tech Wax but I plan to clean it up this Saturday, hit it with M205 again and apply a coat of Blackfire Wet Diamond. The paint is in outstanding condition, here is my detail thread from last fall with the before/after pics. I used to drive this car to work every day until I started working from home, now it mainly sits in the garage and gets driven on weekends. It is located in Newport News, VA. I also have the stock wheels and most other stock parts, let me know if you are interested in them. It passed inspection in August 2010 and there are no mechanical problems with the car that I am currently aware of. It will most likely need a pair of oxygen sensors soon as the stockers just passed 50k miles. The interior is in great shape and was recently shampoo'd. I keep it clean inside with diluted Meg's APC+ and dressed with Aerospace 303 protectant. There are no cracks in any interior panels, and I still have the T-top shade inserts. I replaced the driver side power window motor shortly after I bought the car and it is still going strong. ---------------------------------------------------- Options and Upgrades: A/C, power steering, power windows, power door locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, dual air bags, power driver seat, T-top roof, 3.23 gears. Monsoon stereo with CD and steering wheel controls has been upgraded with CDT Audio speakers from Kee Audio. Components in the front doors and midbass in the sail panels. Polished Stainless Steel rear CAMARO inserts from www.emblempros.com. Trailblazer SS shift knob with brushed stainless insert and leather boot. Wheels: Billet Specialties Street Lites. I always clean inside the hoops and polish them with Mother's Billet polish. No rash, the wheels are super clean. The rear fender lips have been rolled, and the rear is centered for the 315s using an adjustable panhard bar. Front: 17x7 with 215/50ZR17 Admiral P71Z Z-speed rated tires Rear: 17x11 with 315/35R17 Toyo Proxes TQ drag radials Performance Mods: Kooks stainless steel long-tube headers Kooks catted Y-pipe (cats are hollow) QTP stainless steel exhaust cutout DMH electric cutout wired to a convertible top switch for factory appearance. Switch is located in the ASR blank above the radio. Custom turn down pipe for the cutout SLP dual-dual stainless steel catback, with polished muffler and tailpipes. Yank Pro Thruster 4000 torque converter (PT4000), 2.2 STR B&M 24k trans cooler, in series with the stock cooler Self-tuned with HP Tuners, street manners are dialed in for the converter Suspension and Chassis: Lowered appx. 1.25" - Stock springs cut 1 coil, hose mod on the rear. I left the line pretty soft with the tire and track temp combination. With the suspension mods, cutout, wider tires that are actual drag radials, and decent air it should run even faster now. This time was ran at full weight minus the spare and jack, and I weigh ~280 lbs. 1.6543 =60' 4.8532 =330' 7.5845 @ 89.14mph =660' 11.9680 @ 112.61mph =1320' Pictures: Direct sunlight pic, no swirls here! Here are some reflection shots. The entire car was repainted by the previous owner after some cosmetic damage occurred to the driver's rear of the car. Here are some close-up pictures of the rear so you can see the condition, it looks just fine to me! Last but not least, the brake calipers have been sanded smooth and painted and I applied silver CAMARO decals: Thanks to all of you who requested interior pictures, I forgot to add any to the original listing! Added 09/23/2010: I drove the car to my mother-in-law's house today with my 3 and 9 year old girls in the back seat. It was hot outside today and the A/C kept us nice and cold! Both of my kids fell asleep on the way home. This car drives and looks great, and is very comfortable. Some people may be hesitant of the PT4000 converter, but it is really great to drive daily with the computer tuned. Once you reach cruising speed in 3rd and 4th gears, the torque converter clutch locks and it drives just like stock. Here is a video showing how nicely it drives both in the city and on the highway, please note that this was with the Magnaflow catback that is no longer installed; it is now quieter with the SLP dual/dual catback and closed cutout: 2002 Camaro Z28 with a Yank PT4000 torque converter And here is a video of the Magnaflow catback vs. the SLP dual/dual, in my opinion the dual/dual has a much better tone: LS1 Camaro catback exhaust swap, before and after. I own the website www.ls1sounds.com, so I am very particular about the exhaust on my cars. :) I also wanted to add that I am not a smoker so the interior has a neutral smell.
