Up for sale is a 1985 Jeep CJ7. It Starts right up and runs sound with a 258 straight six. 4 speed manual tranny but could use a tune up. The frame is solid and all the corners are good. Tires are in great shape and the running gear is good as is the suspension. This is a solid jeep and worthy of restoration. I have put on a new fuel pump, return fuel line, plugs, wires, distributor, rotor, cap, oil, filter. That is as far as I have gotten. Problems are: the body has rot under doors, and floors are gone. I have new floor pans yet to be installed. It needs a new clutch. It will go into gear and move but it is slipping. It needs door handles. This is a project, not something ready to drive daily. It could howevr be a daily driver with some time and very little money.I think mostly time and little money is what it needs. Pick up only with cash. FYI, there is a mistake on thei listing. It has a 258 straight six.. NOT a 4 cylinder.
