Up for auction is my 1972 Olds Delta 88. It has 455 cubic inches of some of Detroit's finest steel and does run and drive. The transmission is a TH400. The motor is still the standard bore and the car is all original, (still has the Protecto Plate). The interior is in excellent shape with the exception of the tears on the driver's side of the front seat, (see picture). The A/C does not work, (compressor..?). As you can see in the pictures, the paint and the vinyl top are in pretty rough shape. The body itself isn't too bad. There is rust in the typical locations however. This car cruises down the road like the new cars should. It's like having two couches on four wheels. I'm not going to try to convince anyone that this car is perfect. It has items that need attention if you want to make it a daily driver, ie. brakes, exhaust, ect.. My intentions were to find a 442 or convertible Cutlas to do a motor swap in. Money, time, working space, all got in the way. This car is in too good of shape to crush it for scrap iron price and lets face it, they just don't make 'em like this anymore. My hopes are that someone will buy it and either fix it up or use it as parts to complete some other cool project. I'm selling it without a reserve and a low starting price, so hopefully the new owner will have a little extra $$ to spend on it or their project. As for payment, I prefer cash or money order. A $100 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end and balance due at time of pick up. I do have a trailer and will consider delivery within 200 miles of Newman Grove, NE for a fee, (paid in full prior to delivery). If you have any questions or would like extra pictures, let me know.
