very low hour bike, Super Fresh , not touched up ever this bike was ridden very little and is all factory original starts up first kick, has exellent Compression and screams like a Wild Banchee!!! this bike is on its factory stock bore and will not need ANY work on it for quite some time! Suspension is stock, front and rear and is in great shape! the forks have factory protectors on the lowers and factory boots up top, as you can see in the pics, the fork legs look brand new!!! frame paint is original and in great shape for its age, there is slight fading on the side covers , but the fenders and tank are great! the decals on the tank could use replacing and vintagesuzuki.com has them for $35 the bike comes with a spare set of the same factory bridgestones that are on the bike. the rims and spokes look really great, as does the motor and frame! all bearings are tight and slop free!!! original gold bars and all original controls exept for the front brake lever blade. Really Nice Original RM 500 - Ready to race/collect or just ride! One owner bike , always stored in a cliamte controlled Airplane hangar, (owned by a pilot) never raced engine is in original condition, and within spec , with exellent compression you may see a few RM500's for sale, but it is very rare to find one that is all original and still in exellent mechanical condition, this one is Jetted to perfection and has always been expertly maintained!!! and hardly even ridden! A bike can be restored many times, but is olny original once!!! The 84 RM500 was almost a Brad Lacky Works Replica bike compared with the 83, with a more powerful motor and better suspension and I believe an upgraded works style clutch also! This bike is a Hoot To ride!!! - keep it Rubber side down!!!
