I am selling this classic 1974 CL450 custom "Cafe Racer". If you don't like attention you should look at another bike. It is loud, (straight pipes) and draws a crowd wherever you park it. This is the last year for the old Honda 450, this design date back to 1965 and was Honda's first "big" bike. A 45hp 444cc vertical twin with dual carbs, overhead cams and a five speed transmission. The paint on the tank is original and in good shape, inside is clean and not coated. The low English style handlebars give good control, and at under 400lbs it's a relative lightweight. It runs, rides, shifts and handles great. The engine has good compression with no smoke or leaks. The front end has been upgraded to a disc brake off a CB450, and it really stops. The ignition has been upgraded to a new, reliable Dynatek electronic system. The only issue I am aware of is the starter clutch needs replaced. I have a good one that I will give with the bike, just needs installed. (The starter itself is OK, and works). I don't know why anyone would need it though as it starts easy with the kickstarter.
