NO RESERVE! Up for auction is a solid 1951 Dodge Truck 1/2 ton. It is currently primer black and ready for the completion of body work and paint. The truck is very solid and is almost rust free. AZ Car Since New. You could bring it back to its original color of red or turn it into a Rat Rod and keep it Primer Black. The body itself is very solid, It has no rust in the floors or the corners of the cab. The door jams and front clip are also solid and rust free. The rear fenders have a little bondo on them but that is common for the age of the truck. The bed and running boards are in great shape as well. There is some bondo on the back of the cab but is very small. I have included pictures of everything. The interior is pretty solid as well. All the original guages are there and are in working order. The dash lights work as well as the break lights and headlights. The truck is currently registered so if you live in the Phoenix area, You could drive it home. The seats are not original but I have the original seat if you want to take the interior back to original. All glass in the truck is good except for half of the front windshield. It is flat glass and very inexpensive to replace. The Motor and tranny are Original. It has a 218 flat 6 and a 4 speed transmission.There is a pinhole leak in the radiator and I think first gear will need to be replaced. I never used first gear because it is such a grany gear, I usually start off in second. The undercarriage of the truck is very clean and rust free. A total restoration was done about 25 years ago and the rear end and leaf springs look great. I have tried list all of the stuff I can think of about the truck but im sure there is more I forgot.
