1972 Ford LTD Convertible Rare Well Optioned Vehicle – End of Season Sale - NO RESERVE. Drive it home!!! This car was purchased in 6/2006 from the Mid-Atlantic States region. The owner had a life changing event and car was then parked outside in 8/2007 and sat until this September. At this point the owner wants to sell the car to someone who can take care of it and not see it deteriorate any further. The car was a dry car with none of the rot issues these cars had in the Northeast. The car sat for 3 years and leaked no fluids –none. I cleaned out the old gas and it started right up. This is an ALL original – down to the wheel covers, numbers matching automobile. Power train - Engine 400 CID, 2V Carburetor, C6 Transmission Options – Power Bench Seat, Power Windows, AM/FM Stereo (works), Leather (vinyl appearance), AC which appears to have newer hoses, condenser, compressor turns, but is not converted to R134, Power Top, Optional Oversize Front Marker Lights Just passed Massachusetts inspection 9/10. This is a summer cruiser that you can take 6v adults in (comfortably) and luggage. It floats down the highway. I have driven it on several trips over 50 miles. Overall Condition Exterior - Car has solid floors, trunk and frame. Good tires and shocks, Vehicle drives straight. Paint is faded and weather beaten. It needs a paint job. Top needs replacement. Top is dry-rotted and coming apart. Power top frame is good and works A-Okay. Rear bumper passable, but starting to get flaking and rust spots. Front bumper solid, but needs a re-chrome. Just starting to get rust at rear of the two driver’s side and rear passenger side wheel-wells still small. The aluminum trim is all there, but needs to be cleaned/polished. Overall Condition Interior - This is where the car stands out the interior is excellent. Even the carpet. Seats all good, door panels, switches, (one armrest recovered), dash is good one small crack in plastic below speedometer, but dash pad is good. The horn pad is blue. Undercarriage- surface rust from sitting outside, but solid. Issues – Drivers window has power, but motor stuck. Some Dashboard lights out. Clock does not work. Right rear brake line has a leak. Needs tune up – cap, rotor, points, condenser, fuel filter. Plugs and wires were new 3 years ago. I don’t have time. Title shows 26,707, last seller represented that. I am selling as unknown could be 126,707 and now 129K THIS CAR IS AN EASY FIX FOR DAILY DRIVER OR SHOW. TOP AND PAINT AND SOME TLC. SELLING CHEAP AND NO RESERVE. You are responsible for pickup. Will help local buyer in Massachusetts area. Outside of Massachusetts region you must arrange to pick it up (Several people asked, the trunk is not closed all the way in the pictures. It closes and lines up correct. No leaks.)
