Vehicle Detail

This is a solid, dry car originally from South Dakota. Very, very little rust. There is some rust on the engine cover and I treated some surface rust in the rear trunk subfloor and that is about it. Original black car with a fair Maaco paintjob. Shines up nice and get compliments, but the prep was poor - there are some dings and sandscratches, but I have not found any filled rust. Work was done several years ago, so I think if there were any hidden issues they would have shown up by now. Mechanically, the car runs, drives well. I put about 1500 miles on it last fall and have been driving it daily for the last several weeks. Now has about 73,500 miles. Just rebuilt all four calipers and installed new brake hoses, pads, and rotors. New lower motor mount and dogbone bushings. New cam housing gaskets, seal, and timing belt. New KYB front struts. Replaced upper strut mounts with new uprated mounts from Chris Obert, these have not been available for years. Brand new Sumitomo 185/60/13 tires on nice Iron Cross wheels with Bertone caps. Power windows, no A/C. Interior is presentable, 80's speakers in the doors. Have two sets of seats - the original light gray with the 'Bertone rip' on the driver's side, and the currently-installed late seats that have been spray-dyed and are a little stiff. Both trunks have the late trim and are clean, I have reinstalled the rear trunk floor and lining since the pics and video. I do have the battery cover and strut caps not shown in the pics. Reverse is noisy and the first gear synchro is weak, otherwise shifts fine and I would not hesitate to drive this car long distances. This is a good deal for a solid, late X that you can drive now and bring up to your standards a little at a time. As with any used car, it is a good idea to inspect and drive in person, however, I will assist with loading the car for shipping car via a carrier of your choice. VIDEO WALKAROUND AT www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8cR5CjgE9g Includes some used parts if desired - the original TRON wheels in nice shape, original seats, a good smooth targa top, used transaxle for parts, and a few boxes of misc used parts from a parts car. On Sep-16-10 at 14:23:16 PDT, seller added the following information:Had a few questions about the title. I have a clear KY title in my name, there will be no surprises transferring this car. Title indicates 'Not Actual Mileage' , but I am not sure why since it seems to match the car's history. On Sep-16-10 at 14:25:32 PDT, seller added the following information:If you would like to call with any questions about the car, please contact me via My eBay and I will reply with my phone number. Thanks! On Sep-18-10 at 05:30:04 PDT, seller added the following information:Just to clarify based on some questions I have received, the paint on this car is not as nice as it looks in some of the pics, but you can see things pretty well in the video. There are some waves, dings, and sandscratches. Don't want to scare off bidders, but don't want anyone to be disappointed, either! Please let me know if you would like photos of anything specific. Thanks!
