Offered for sale is our Red 1976 Corvette Stingray. This vehicle has 40,150 original miles on it. The Clear Pennsylvania Title shows this mileage to be the Actual Mileage. The previous owner invested well over $15,000 in this Corvette. It has a new Chevrolet Crate Motor rated at 240 HP. With the modifications that were done it produces far more HP then a stock GM Crate motor. I have not had it Dyno Tested but, this car is very quick and it sure is fun to drive. The engine has a performance street cam, high rise manifold, upgraded carburetor and a high performance ignition system. The cooling system has been upgraded and has electronic fans. The engine runs great and it sounds amazing. The undercarriage of this car is immaculate. No rust or decay on the frame. It looks brand new. The suspension has been updated as well as the breaking system. It has a new stainless steel exhaust system. It does not have catalytic converters. This corvette has lots of chrome, even underneath. All glass is good and is free of star cracks, chips or noticeable scratches. The Interior is real nice too. There are no dash cracks. The seats, carpet and door panels all look great. It has a high end paint job and the car shows well. Being 34 years it does have a few quirks and I will list all know defects. 1. The passenger side T-Top Seal needs to be replaced. 2. The passenger side power window is a bit slow. 3. The pop up headlights have been converted. 4. The car has an 80's rear bumper cover (this was a very common upgrade at that time). 5. The car has upgraded 77-82 Slotted Aluminum Rims that are as nice as you will ever find and the tires are practically brand new. The car doesn't have power steering or Air Conditioning. 7. Although the clutch has plenty of grip, the throw out bearing is not as quiet as it should so, you should anticipate that the clutch will need to be replaced, not today, but, at some time in the future. 8. When the car gets warm, and I have not been able to figure out this problem, the starter will not work until the car cools down. 9. The oil pressure gage doesn't work. 10. The parking break needs to be adjusted. Aside from these few issues, this car is in great shape. I have driven this corvette over five hundred miles and it runs well. The suspension is tight and the car has no squeaks or rattles. It handles much better than it did in 1976 and it is a pleasure to drive. You won't be dissappointed. Take a look at all this car has to offer. You can drive this one home! Careful, because this corvette commands lots of attention and it turns heads where ever you drive it.
