Vehicle Detail

up for bids is my project car that is one of those days projects that i may not ever get to finish, its a 55 ford customline 2dr sedan, it isnt in bad shap for being almost 60 years old although it has had someone before me do some work to it, for one the right quarter has been replaced at one point and kinda never finished "right", i never knew it til i took the trim off the sides of the car, and the front floors have been "repaired" with some sheet metal at one point, the floors aint all that bad to begin with the rear floors are solid and the truck is very solid the front floors like i say need some attention have a few small holes in em, nothing real serious, not like a flintstone flyer. i have all the trim for it and its in pretty decent shape, needs a good polishing to be show quality, also have front and rear bumpers for it, front isnt too bad but rear is pretty rough, both prolly need to be chromed the grille is in damn good shape and i think i may have an extra one on hand for it too if i can locate it, it does run and drive and is currently registered and insured to me, it has a 393W stroker windsor motor with a real air gap intake and 850 holley double pump on it, small cam stock rods and cast crank, makes quite a bit of torque, also has a set of windsor jr iron heads on it with roller rockers and tall ford racing valve covers. has an aluminum radiator that was a drop in replacement for the 55 customline and a GM one wire alternator, has been converted to 12V, C-4 transmission with stock convertor and an 8 inch ford rear end with 3.00 gear in it, runs down the highway just fine, all the brakes and brake lines have been done on it, they are still 4 wheel drum with new shoes and rubber hoses and all steel line has been replaced, basically this is a good project for someone who wants something they can drive and do some bodywork here and there, the tires are new on it, fronts show little to no wear, the rears are about 1/2-3/4 tread, 15x4 wheel on ffront and 15x8 on rear, the motor and trans only have about 2000 miles on both of them, i've gotten most of the hard work done to this ole car and i hate like hell to get rid of it but i dont have a job anymore and with no income priorities come into effect. any more questions let me know, i do have the radio for it and also a clock and radio delete plate for those holes if someone wanted to not run em common now, had 41 folks watchin it and no bids, gotta get this car gone, make room fer the new project, any questions give a call at 501 499 5806 no calls after 9pm central time please
