up for bids is a project i dont have time for anymore, its a 1979 ford f-150 lariat ranger, it has every option that you could get in 79 minus cruise control, has tilt wheel, intermitten wipers, power steer, power brake, a/c , towing mirrors, bed hooks, and the lariat interior, was wrecked light in the left front when i got it and i have another fender for it but it doesnt match the rest of the truck, also have 2 grille shells for it, one is a ford genuine part that has light scratch here and htere with aftermarket chrome ranger grille and headlight doors, the other is a chinese repop that is pretty low qualirty, it has a brand new 400 in it with a brand new c-6 trans and a rebuilt 205 transfer case, transfer case was rebuilt by a reputable shop here local a year or two ago, 4x4 works great, i havent installed teh front driveshaft yet on account of installing new u-joints in it, but it worked great before that, the motor is a 400 ford bored .060 with a mild hydraulic cam and roller rockers on stock heads with stainlessvalves. has a set of tim meyer pistons in it for a 9.4 compresssion good for pump gas all new bearings freeze plugs and all, block was baked and cleaned and all by a local machine shop here, has a weiend intake with a 600 edelbrock carb on it, the trans is a stock rebuild with a fairbanks shift kit in it, also included will be a set of brand new sport king tires on 88 ford truck rims installed on the truck, they literally hnave 0 miles on these, the motor has about 5 miles on it along with the trans, they were run long enough to break in the cam and drove it home from the shop, needs some carb work to be 100% but runs good like it is, also the a/c works but isnt very cold, think it needs a little more R134 in it and probably the dirt daubers washed out of the evaporator core, the radiator isnt very old either, no leaks on it as of now, has a 9 inch rear with 3.50 gears and a ford posi unit in it, dana 44 front with matching gears and manual hubs, the brakes suck on it right now, needs a master cylinder which i have but havent installed yet, was going to get this truck going and sell my 97 to use as a daily driver but lost interest when i inherited a 51 ford truck, now i have too many projects and this one has the least importance to me it has soem surface rust on the frame rails and rear housing but no rot that i can find except the tailgate which i'm pretty sure is not the original to this truck, it used to be blue you can see the "jambs" on the sides are stilll blue
