1987 Suzuki Samurai in excellent condition. Completely rebuilt engine with new clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing. Body is straight with absolutely NO RUST or BONDO. This has been my daughter's daily driver to her work as a California State Lifeguard here in Ventura.I wanted this to be a great first car or my daughter as she is a competitive surfer and lifeguard and this little guy has been awesome - EXCEPTIONALLY reliable and has NEVER had any problems.My daughter is going off to school and we now need to part with her first love. This is one of the few Samurai's that has all original equipment, original radio, CB radio and mic, original cage and door padding, and carpet.The 4 Wheel drive works great and lockers are fully functional.It has the original bush guard and mud flaps.Also comes with the $700 Samurai roof rack as well as a small winch that is remotely operated. The top is in great condition with no rips and the plastic windows are clear. The Sammy had been sitting in the barn and hadn't been started regularly. As it turned out, we rebuilt the motor as the rings had retreated from the cylinder walls and driving it didn't reseat them.While we were at it, we had the mechanic go completely through the motor and replace any part that he deemed even questionable. This included new oil pump, water pump, belts, battery, and a $400 carburetor. The Sammy has always been garaged but needs paint to make it perfect. The vehicle got stuck on a rock uplift while off-roading and caused damage under the driver's floor that has been repaired with no structural damage. You would be hard-pressed to find the repair and does not effect the frame or the body of the Samurai. This is why it has a salvage title.
