Up for auction is a 1969 Dodge Charger RT. This is a real RT car (XS29). The odometer reads 59,755 but I do not believe those are actual. The engine is a 440. The vehicle starts up on command, sounds great, and has dual exhaust. This is equipped with a 4 barrel carburetor and posi traction. The vehicle has a rear sway bar, rear disc brakes, power brakes, automatic transmission (which has been recently rebuilt), console shift, solid bumpers, and much more. This RT has solid frame rails and torsion bar boxes. The underside is solid, just look at the pictures. I have scraped a lot of the undercoating off to show how solid the frame rails and torsion boxes are. This car needs restored but provides a solid foundation to do so. The interior has nice front and rear seat covers. The console is still in good shape but the carpet is faded. The dash pad is really nice and the instrument cluster is complete. As mentioned earlier, the car needs restored but it has a solid foundation to do so. The fender tag is still with the car and I have included a picture of it. All of the glass is good an appears to be original. For being 41 years old, it is in super shape. Doors open and close very good and door panels are in good shape also. This is one Charger RT that you do not want to let pass by. Obviously, they do not make these anymore. When you can find one with a solid frame and underside like this, you need to grab it. This is your opportunity to do so. We are not asking an arm and a leg for this one. It is at a fair price that will leave you room to do the restoration.
