You are looking at a 2000 Chevy 2500 Crew Cab 4x4 truck. It has the unstoppable Dodge Cummins 12 valve motor and the very dependable Chevy 4L80E automatic transmission. The whole truck is in great shape. The pictures speak for themselves! It drives just as good as it looks. The Leather interior is in great shape. There are no major stains, rips, or tears in the upholstery. It has an aftermarket Pioneer CD Player that has the USB port for an Ipod or MP3. It has Ice Cold A/C and the heater works great. It has power windows, locks, mirrors and seat. All the gauges work correctly as if the motor was supposed to be in there. The only one that doesn't is the tachometer (It doesn't have a distributor for a signal like a gasoline engine). The exterior is also in great shape with no major dents, dings, or scratches. It has a spray-in bed liner and toolbox in the bed. It has about 11 inches of lift (all suspension, no body). The front axle is a Dana 60 with cross over steering. The kit for the straight axle conversion was professionally made by "Off-Road Direct". This was installed to be able to handle the weight of the motor without having to change out the front end every six months like the normal IFS (independent front suspension). The tires are 38.5x15x16r Super Swamper Boggers with about 80% tread left on them. The tires have been trued (shaved) and balanced. (When tires come this big, they aren't perfectly round so they ride rough. After they are mounted on the truck, they are shaved to be perfectly round so they ride smooth like a small tire.) The Chevy transmission is bolted up to the Cummins motor with an adaptor from fordcummins.com and the electronic transmission is controlled by a "stand-alone" computer from TCI (it does have overdrive and cruises comfortably at 70-80 mph) Everything on this truck is in great shape. I drive it almost everyday. The only reason I'm selling it is because I just bought a 2003 (the new body style) and I plan on doing the same thing to it.
