The Austin needs total restoration. It has rust in the floors and 1/4 panels. It is missing the grille and trunk lid. This car is extremely rare. Less than 75 are known to exist and less than 20 are known to run. If you want a cool rare convertible to restore then this is it. Thanks to Ken, a fellow Austin owner, I couldn't have got all this info. He is also restoring a somerst convertible and is a wealth of knowledge. He is putting together a registry of the remaining somerset coupe convertibles and he has added this one to it. I found the vin tag and engine tag, went to the dmv in wash st and they said the car dropped out of thier system and to get a title I would have to get it running and have it inspected to start the process of getting a title. As of now, they said I can sell it as a bill of sale only but other states may just issue a title without the hassle I have to go through.
