1996 Volkswagon Passat 5sp TDI One Owner Hello and thank you for viewing my auction. This is a One owner VW Passat TDI that was just traded in at the dealer it was sold at new in 1996. The car was always serviced at this dealer. It is explained in the Carfax which I will give to winning bidder with title. This Passat is 100% original in every way. The black paint shines and looks great throughout. On both sides of car there is a matching small slightly larger than a half dollar blister starting. Both can be repaired before delivery for $300 on top of winning bid but is not necessary but would make exterior almost perfect. Keep in mind I'm being very picky. The tires are all matching and are all approx 70%. The factory wheel covers were just replaced with new VW correct covers. Overall this Passat's exterior is in very above average condition. Next the interior. The inside is just as well maintained as the outside. The seats both front and back are clean with no surprises. The headliner, door panels, and rugs are also very clean. The radio operates fine and is equipped with a CD changer that is missing the cartridge. The power sunroof operates fine as well as the gauges. Overall the interior is very clean and original and all options work. Finally the mechanics of this car. The glow plugs are fine and this diesel starts right up fine. The shifter shifts through all gears smoothly and clutch grabs great too. The Turbo boosts fine and car has plenty of pick up. Brakes, suspension, etc.. are all in great operating condition.
