Nice 1966 El Camino frame- on restoration , taken down to bare metal, hood , fenders, one door, and all floor boards replaced.Painted a modern metallic blue, but similar to the original color. New windshield installed after dash was painted. Front end rebuilt and disc brakes installed. 350 with a TH400 transmission, engine made 330 hp and about same torque on a dyno. Edelbrock carb and intake, Hedmann headers, and an aluminum radiator. Transmission was built by Phoenix Transmission in Weatherford, Texas. Rear end rebuilt with 3:73 gears , posi-trac unit, and new drive shaft. New Lokar floor shifter. Cragar SS wheels with almost new tires. Sprayed on bedliner. New gray interior, including bucket seats, carpet, headliner, and door panels. Ididit steering column and Grant wheel. Custom dash with Shark gauges. New Painless wiring was installed before interior was installed, so everything works. Engine has about 4,000 miles on it and I drive it two or three times a week. Very dependable and I would drive it anywhere. This car is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
