Got a Eclipse Spyder for sale. Current owner is a new mom and finds it hard to get a newborn in and out of the back car seat. This convertible has a new battery, new transmission as of last year, new belts as of last year, tires in good shape. Has power windows, power doors, and factory alarm system, automatic with overdrive, cruise control, power steering and power brakes. Convertible top is in good shape, but has a small rip (about ¾ inch) on the passenger rear side. Here are the issues. When the transmission was installed, the shop never hooked up the speedometer or odometer. Also, it is leaking coolant right now. I looked and it and it is coming from a metal pipe that goes into the block at the front of the engine. Since she has a new car, I have not looked into this further as she is done putting money into it. A new baby will do that to you, especially after putting in a new transmission. Also, the air conditioning quit this summer. Car starts and runs fine, but will start to leak fluid at the connection I mentioned above. Car does not come with a stereo as she had other plans for it. Convertible top goes up and down at the push of a button. Last fall was the last time it was used, as a new baby does not do well in sunlight. As mentioned, there is a small tear that lets a bit of water into the back seats. Back seats need a good cleaning, but no mold or rot. No other tears in the top and the rubber is in good shape (no leaks or tears). Back window is good shape with no rips. This is a come and get it car, as it won’t be delivered. Will probably need to be taken on a trailer until the coolant leak is fixed as I don’t think you want to over heat the engine. Reserve is set low. Within 24 hours of the auction close, a deposit of $500.00 is required. This is a cash or PayPal only sale. No other forms will be accepted. Car will need picked up within 7 days of auction close. If this won’t work for you, let me know and we will make other arrangements. Failure to meet these terms will result in a re-listing of the car. Just talk to me and this will be a good sale.
