I am selling a 1969 GTO, complete with PHS documentation and a clear bill of sale. I do not have the original motor, transmission or complete interior. The car was sold in Wayne PA in October of 1968 making it an early run of the 69 line. Options at the time of sale included a cordova top, P/B Radio, Console shifter, front disc brakes, turbo/hydromatic transmission, deluxe wheels, power steering, a mayfair maze exterior and a black interior. I bought this car as a donor to restore a 69 GTO convertible, when I got home from Iraq and saw the overall condition of the chassis I couldn't let myself cut it up. The floorpan under the rear seat is in excellent condition, most of the cabin floor is in good condition except some surface rust and a couple small holes. The trunk is thin and rotted through to the frame braces where the pan meets the axle hump. The frame and floor braces are solid from what I can tel without pulling the body off the frame. The doors open and shut like new. There is rot around the font and rear windshields which seems to be common on GTOs that sit outside in the northeast. There was no dash when I bought it but I will include a blue dash from a 69 Custom S. The interior is mostly there but someone along the line painted the front seats from white to black. The front seats will need new foam and covers but the frames look good. I now have a back seat that is in good condition and is the origional color for the car. Both rear armrests and pannels are in good shape and original to the car. Headliner needs to be replaced, but a good one comes with the Lemans in the second part of this add. The wheels are Ralley 2's and look to be original to the car. There is a locking nut on them and I don't have the time to take the weels off tho check the numbers. I have the inner grills and some of the other parts for the front bumper, rear bumper is fair and should be rechromed. Trunk lid is in fair shape, having rust on the lower lip (as they all do), but not that hard to fix. Included is a chassi from a 69 LeMans out of Nevada with one small rust hole in the left rear inner wheel house. Other than some vey minor surface rust that is all of the rust on the car. There are some holes cut in the floor from where the previous owner was going to install a roll cage. The rear wheel houses have been trimmed at the quarter panel to allow for larger tires as the car was intended as a drag car. This is just the cabin no fenders, doors, interior, frame deck-lid etc... Rather than sell everything as parts and pieces I wanna give someone a good start to a restore great car. The car is not located where I live. It Is located in St. Johnsville NY, but on appointment I can get there in a couple hours, as I am stationed at Fort Drum. Below is a list of additional parts that come with the car; In a weekend if you have the tools you can cut the welds and switch the firewals from the GTO and the Lemans, leaving you with a nice chassis to restore. Whisch is what I am going to do If I get done with the major work I have on my Convertible Resto. Extra front left front fender for pieces, it has rust at the rear brace and is dented from a collision Set of door shells both need work in the bottoms left side is damaged along the front from a collision. There are no returns on this sale, so please ask any questions before bidding. If you don't want the Lemans Chassis let me know and we can work something out. I have Bills of sale for both cars and the title for the Lemans. Local pickup is prefered but we can help load the GTO and chassis if needed so long as you contact me so I can be there to help.
