1992 GMC Typhoon. Daily driver, well maintained- just put in both new torsion bar mounts, steering shaft and all the routine parts like plugs, wires, AC blower parts, ect. Just a tad over 85000 miles now, but runs very well. Engine is .030 over with forged internals and the 700r4 is built as well. PT 51-61 turbocharger. Truck retains AC and it still works- new relay, fuse, and switch as well. Truck is fast and is set to run 25 psi, but currently I have it at the stock 15 psi. There are some rust bubbles that the previous owner never addressed when he repainted the truck at the rear of the hatch, they have never bothered me. The underside of the truck is fine, bolts come off very easily so the rust was not an issue for the undercarriage. 18" wheels, disc brake conversion in rear, entire truck also lowered 2". I have been commuting to work a lot further than I had in the past with the truck and am selling to get something with alittle better gas mileage. I love the truck, it turns heads and hauls ass, but it is not a commuter. They based it on the number of owners which is a lousy way to rate a vehicle. The truck has clear title, no outstanding liens, never been wrecked, ect...the only real issues that should stand out when rating a car. *NO TRADES! *The truck is a daily driver, I wanted something with better highway MPG now. I have taken the truck on multiple trips out of the state and it can drive anywhere without a doubt. This is probably one of the only built Typhoons on here that is actually driven daily and retains its reliability. All the basic maintainance I have done is visible under the hood and I never kept the Autozone receipts. Also done one the truck is a complete rear end rebuild after the pinion bearing failed, water pump, ECU, coolant temp gauge sender, coolant temp sensor, ignition coil, cap-rotor wires plugs, fuel pressure gauge under hood. Spare ECU included, aftermarked valve covers, door weatherstripping and any other spare parts I have left over.
