Up for sale is my 2006 Chevrolet Express 3500 Long Wheelbase Cargo Van. This van is RARE, RARE, RARE, RARE, RARE because it is equipped with virtually EVERY OPTION AVAILABLE. This van is RARE to begin with because of the DURAMAX DIESEL, it is even RARER because of the options. The dealer who originally sold it said only about 5000 of these vans were produced in 2006. I purchased this van from my company when I retired in 2010. I DROVE THIS VAN OFF THE LOT WHEN IT WAS BRAND NEW AND I HAVE BEEN THE ONLY DRIVER THIS VAN HAS EVER SEEN. When you look at the vehicle history report, you will see the original owner as my company and I am the second owner having bought the vehicle in April of 2010. I am selling because of poor health and the fact I no longer need a vehicle like this. THE bumper to bumper warranty will end at 72,000 miles or July 2012 The 5 year/ 100,000 mile powertrain warranty will end at 100,000 miles or July 2011 This van has also had SUPERB maintenance: Oil Changes every 3,000 miles with GM oil and filter Fuel filter changed twice per year Air filter changed as indicated by restriction gauge on filter cover Fuel conditioner run with every tank of diesel Brakes were just done at 67,000 miles on all 4 wheels Coolant recovery bottle replaced under warranty in March 2010 because it was leaking on one of the molded seams Tires were replaced at 66,000 miles- all 4 replaced with quality tires. So remaining tread life is a non-issue. The van does have some dings and dents from when I drove it on business. The rear bumper in particular has a dent on the lower chrome area. NONE of them detract from the quality, power, and efficiency of this van. I regularly get 30MPG when it is empty and 20-25 when it is loaded. This van has never towed ANYTHING and has been used to deliver electronics and appliances, so it has never been used for construction, plumbing, etc. The ride quality is really nice. I know this van is rare, and is priced accordingly, but I think you will find it to be a superior value to any other similar van on EBAY right now.
