Vehicle Detail
The car has served us faithfully for many years since BRAND NEW and I am having a broken heart letting it go. The car runs and drives and is ready to go. The car has been super well kept all the time. Click History Report Tab to see how PERFECT and IMMACULATE one family history this car has. It is WAY ABOVE the best maintained vehicles. Please compare the history of all Ford Tempos on ebay to this car. Similar vehicles have ebay Autocheck score between 18 and 39. THIS CAR has 45!!!!! This car has been babied and pampered by one family and kept in top shape. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. If you have ANY question(also regarding price that is within your range) you can just click ASK a QUESTION. I am not a car dealer. This vehicle is even eligible for up to $50,000 in Vehicle Purchase Protection. Be confident this is a good working condition vehicle. You are bidding one a ONE FAMILY owned 100% CALIFORNIA car. (what it means? I have seen ABSOLUTELY no rust on it, unlike on multiowner cars that were back east or in flood areas at one point in their history! ). The car was owned by a respectable mature and responsible lady that later passed it on to her son(myself) who have taken diligent and painstaking care of the vehicle all the time. The car is a 1993 but has been kept in close to perfect condition for all these years with very very modest use. It has always been very reliable and dependable. The car has current DMV registration. The car has been driven once every 2 months just to keep it properly lubricated and in good running condition. There are few super minor issues with the vehicle and I would say those are of trivial nature. I was even told it is plain overzeleaous to mention them in a used car from 1993: Wipers work fine. They are nice Tri-tips. Heater works fine. Power steering works fine. No leaks I ever noticed in engine or tranny area. Radiator works fine. Cool down auxiliary fan works very good. The car gas almost new tires and brakes done recently - maybe 10k ago.I also have receipt. I believe the car has timing CHAIN(I am almost positive I check on the web) so it should be good for many more miles with no need to do ANY expensive timing belt exchange at all. Windows and gaskets are all in good condition. Windshield is relatively new (4yrs?) - has a super slight hardly visible semicircular super tiny scratch in it from old wiper blade holders BUT THIS IS NOT A BREAK or a CHIP and it is not n needed or required to change the windshield. In fact if I did not mention this noone would probably ever notice, it is just me being over diligent supposedly. (if it was a crack or chip it would be and a police officer might give you a ticket, in this case I am just diligent in the description to be extra extra extra honest - this is absolutely no chip or crack so ntohing to worry about at all). Interior is absolutely immaculate and just perfect - just a bit faded from sun and time. There is some vinyl slight tiny bit cracked on center armrest but this is a super minor thing I believe Steering wheel and dash area like NEW. Door window handles work fine. excellent AIWA CD MP3 and Radio works beyond Excellent. Tuner button sensors a bit visually worn but all work OK - but deck can easily be swapped. I also have same radio so I might for $50 additional give you same panel but newer. Speakers are all original and work fine. Trunk essentially immaculate. Carpeting in both car and trunk essentially like new. I particularly loved the new carpeted Ford OEM floormats in back seat floors. I believe I have front carpeted Ford OEM floor mats Headliner padding and cloth cover are all like brand new. Dome light works fine and is adjustable for how it turns/stays on! Deck carpet (behind and above rear seat) like new. Third brake light works fine. All brake and signal and tail lights work fine as required. I used your special cleaner awhile ago to de-fog the headlight lenses (it worked ok) and will do it again soon. The light all work beautiful. Engine (or transmission) doesn't burn any fluids or need any ongoing care. Engine (or transmission) doesn't leak any fluids or need any ongoing care. The car I think may need a new battery AT SOME POINT in the future as we have hardly used it every day for the past few months (I think it is $30 cost maximum to get a new one for it). Once I jump start it it is running OK and then I can start it again. It just not hold charge for months if not used/driven. New cars seem to behave the same way if not driven for months. Fuel cap locks ok but the esthetic body door on it doesn't lock but looks like its locked when its closed (I am overdiligent in description here I think, all looks fine and cap closes OK). The only minor issues are here related to EITHER weak battery or the lock mechanism: Passenger door locking rack/slider mechanism or whatever inside the door needs adjustment so key or electric door locks can open door, and so door knob can be lifted to unlock it as well because I cannot open front passenger door from inside or outside. But this might just be the fact that when I lave the car for a long time, the battery is weak and this is why. It has happaned to me in another car when battery was week. Driver's door lock is broken. Key just freely turns left and right with NO connection to locking mechanism. In the place where I live, there is no need to lock the car anyway. AC does blow cool air but AC seems to need to be a recharged. AC apparatus needs AC pipe and recharging I think. Electric door lock system works good - all doors but front passenger door locks and unlock fine. I bet a simple repair few dollar to front passenger door would let door be electrically locked & unlocked like it used to be. All it takes is someone who can remove door panel I think and look at it. Trunk release lever in trunk is like new. Trunk release button in glove compartment works fine. Fuel door pop-open button also in glove compartment would work fine if simple repair was performed to fuel door locking mechanism. This is why I think it all may be just weak battery realted. Ashtray & cigarette lighter clean - the car was NEVER smoked in since we owned it. Transmision shifts fine - flushed about 25k ago. Fluid level ok. This is what is important in a car next to the engine which is also fine in this car. Gas gauge works ok except for anomaly -- gauge falsely but consistently reads 1/4 tank too high, so if gas gauge reads 1/2 tank, it means 1/4 is full. Mechanic years ago replaced fuel pump but might have screwed the gauge level up. One mechanic also claims it was a FEATURE of the Ford Tempo but I do not believe it. Other gauges and dummy lights work ok perfectly. I have some service records on car I am currently gathering. It might be or might not be included for the buyer. The car has about 124971 miles. It is being driven once a week so it can have a bit more miles. if you have any question please email, call or leave a message at +1 925 337 8407 I reserve the right to back out of the sale of this beautiful car for any reason or no reason, especially if someone in my family decides to buy it from us. Please see my 100% rating for MANY MANY years as ebay seller and all the people that dealt with me on ebay and rated my honesty.
