1996 Chevy S-10 Blazer . , My personal Company Vehicle , wonderful Vehicle That Deserves a great home . I bought used in 1998 From Hendrick Chevy Here in Charlotte . Had 40 ,000 miles aprox when i got it , I had a blazer with a 4.3 liter 6 ( Vortec V-6) , I put over 300,00 miles on that one so i figured That was a great engine . This 1996 Has That Vortec v-6 similar ,, but improved .. Changed the oil every 3000-4000, miles religiously , And There are no leaks , does not use oil between changes , and it stays clean between changes . Always been a SOUTHERN Car , No snow, salt , NO RUST , no rust issues with door pins etc .. As to the Mechanics of the car, All Highway miles ,, Here's the Thing , I've kept it registered , Still drive it , once a week , It's inspected and registered currently . Doesn't really get driven enough . Very reliable , Never had a problem , Great manors , fun to drive , handles well.. I've made a list of the issues of things it may or will need . 1. A/c leak . Every season for the past ,oh ,, 8 years or so , i put a bottle of freon ,in the system ,, lasts the whole season , I figured it was fine for me ..i didn't want to put any $ into a vehicle that wasn't used on a daily basis ,,Never had it looked @ even , so don't know if it is simple or complicated 2. Check engine light comes on. I've replaced one or two sensors over the course of owning it ,, For the past 3 years , The garage that inspect it , resets it , Say it is fine and it come on 200 Miles later , but it been inspected and i don't worry about ,,that light and you shouldn't either ,I have a Theory About why they put those lights in ,, , . I don't want to deal with it again 3.In the great " ICE STORM" of 2003 , I had a Tall pine come down in my yard , and the Tip landed on the TOP of the Passenger front fender , made a small Dent ,, I Never got it fixed ,, firstly , never bothered me , kind of reminded me of that storm ,( Was bad, no power for 7 days !)) Anyways The big reason was that the paint was original , i like original , i figured they 'd put some Chinese ,thin metal fender on, a whisp of paint, that wouldn't match , and viola , a mess , i Think red would be had to match , i like Factory Paint, so i left well enough alone ,. I'm a good driver , doesn't look like a driving injury, so i left it , Still does not bother me ,I even wax it , and the hood is not affected , 4. 171.460miles , Very lightly driven , The Kids never drove , only me , makes a difference , honestly , don't let the millage scare you , The motor sounds great, Drives tight , idles so quiet , she's a real lady I drive her easy , I Make all my vehicles Last . . The Body Paint is completely original, no touch up to body! and the clear coat is shiney and has not been breached anywhere. Never Been wrecked or changed body parts ,, Never smoked in .Interior is gray cloth , Back seat was never really used ,Lift up Tail gate , good pistons , Has a fold down rear seat , which was kept folded down most of the time , Always Stored / parked with car cover .Has Original Owners Manuel . I'll supply all the records you will want , to establish a new base line . That's why the Red Paint Never Faded, , Plus always well detailed , by me ,, This Vehicle is is sound diving condition , you can buy it on line and drive it home ! I hope this vehicle will go to someone who will appreciate how much love and attention i given to it to keep it up to this level , Someone who appreciates a well cared vehicle .Vehicle can be inspected anytime prior to the sale ,by appointment .
