Vehicle Detail

If your looking for that special car that is affordable, one of a kind and quality built this Rat is your baby!! No b.s., not hype... the car is a beast and a looker.. priced to sell! Not a junker just thrown together or at the same time a $30,000 build.. Ford Hot Rod Running a unique Ford Motor. She speaks for herself... 1957 Ford YBlock with 70,000 original miles, 3 Holley dueces with electronic ignition. Original Thunderbird aluminum valve covers and finned valley cover. Three speed overdrive transmission with hydraulic clutch(od not hooked up). Clear coated with 2 coates of POR 15 and 2 coats of PPG clear on top. 1930 Chevy one ton headlights with halogen bulb conversion and blinkers. 1940 Ford front axel with all new parts, bearings, brakes shoes, wheel cylinders, springs and kingpins with split, drilled and sleeved bones. 92 Camaro rear end with new brakes and adjustable coilovers with a fully adjustable 4 link suspension. Zoomies Within the last 14 months the car has had the following work; New 1940 wheels with new rim rings and center caps all powder coated red on new double in/out white walls for the front and wide whites for the rear.(total $1500 from Coker Tire) The carbs were sent to dickshotrodplace.com to get synced and rebuilt. They were rebuilt with 100% updated parts. The intake was polished and all three carbs painted.(total $1450) The engine had a slight valve tapping(common with all Yblocks). Yblock.com was contacted...they added new technology to the old oiling system in the form of pressurized rockers. The heads were sent off and rebuilt with new vlaves, springs and keepers. All new pushrods, rocker assembly's, lifters and cam bearings. With the new oiling system it was recommended that the stock cam be changed so a new aggressive cam was installed.(old cam comes with car) All new gaskest and oil pump. The engine was pulled and painted OEM red for the 57 Thunderbird Yblock to keep it original. The engine runs and sounds like a MILLION bucks, no bull....!!!! There is less than 150miles on the updated engine. Last month I had all new fuel lines installed with pressure gauge, pressure regulator and fuel block. All three carbs were linked with a quality Progressive linkage and topped with new vintage style Edmonds air cleaners. Radiator fan was mounted with a custom, solid mount.($2,300 in parts and labor) Some misc. items... Inside new black face gauges with lights were installed in original dash, interior light under the dash, custom shift knob, aluminum aircraft seats, bear claw latches with original 34 handles. Operational tilt out front windshield(no quarter or door glass). Floorboards were covered with vintage newspapers and clear coated for a one of a kind interior(..ie Bonny&Clyde, Titanic, vintage pictures, money and adverstisemants) Fire extinguisher overlflow, military accessory pouches, leather strapped fuel tank, vintage NJ 1929 licnese plate and AAAAUGGGGAAAA horn. I can't possibly describe how cool this car is and the character it has. It lyterally brings traffic to a stop when it's driving by.. Makes every trip to Wawa a 40min trip instead of a 5min one... get use to giving a wave to everyone from 5yrs old to 90. Great mixture of old and and new done with care. All bolts, nuts and washers, fuel lines, wiring, brackets, battery, switches, etc are new except those meant to stay "rusty" to give character.
