This is a CLEAN ride. ready to roll. The car has been in storage for 15 years and recently brought back to life. The only thing this car needs is to have the carbs synced and tuned properly. I did not want to spend the money. They are backfiring a bit. Sonic checked, pressure checked and oiling system blueprinted by Ford Power Parts 1(310)921-xxxx- Ron Miller 2. Mag checked, align bored, deck squared and torque plated honed to a bore of 4.252 by Taylor Engine 1(310)698-xxxx – Jay Steel. Total displacement is 452 cubic inches. Pistons, Crankshaft, and connecting rods: 1. Pistons are custom light weight Ross Racing pistons setup for 10:1 compression. 2. The crank is a 428CJ, I.D. 1UB that is 10 under on the main and rod journals. It has been hardened, oil holes chamfered and polished by Castillo’s Crankshaft Specialist. 3. Cobra Jet rod have been re-sized with new ARP bolt, beams polished and mil spec shot peened by Taylor Engine. 4. Engine is internally balanced and blueprinted. Cylinder heads are medium riser port size fitted with new (Manley) stainless steel intake and exhaust valves. Intakes are 2.15” and exhaust valve seats installed and flow tested by Competition Heads 1(714) 524-xxxx- Joel Marsh. Valvetrain: 1. Crower dual valve springs with a 1.90” installed height. New locks and retainers. Seat pressure is 145lbs closed, 320lbs open. 2. Crower hydraulic cam #16256(see cam card for spec’s) 3. Roades lifters. 4. Ford Power Parts chromoly 3/8” push rods, chromoly rocker shafts, stage IV roller rockers, billet aluminum center and end stands. 5. True dual roller timing chain with fully machine chromoly steel upper and lower sprockets Fuel delivery: Weber Induction system by Ingelese Induction. Four, dual crown draft 48IDA Webers. (see spec. sheet for jetting) Oiling System: Canton road racing oil pan(six trap doors) with 7 quart capacity. Blue printed high pressure oil pump by Ford Power Parts. Chromoly pump drive. Ignition System: 1. Stinger electronic with 36 degrees total advance; initial advance is 14degrees. 2. MSD “soft touch” rev control (6400 rpm) 3. Taylor wires; Autolight 35 plugs Exhaust System: 1. Hooker super competition headers ceramic coated by Sermatec. 2. 3” collectors to Dynamax turbo mufflers. OTHER: 1. Engine is assembled with ARP head and main studs. Drive Train Specifications: 1. Centerforce steel billet 30lbs. flywheel. 2. Centerforce dual friction clutch. Clutch pedal assembly has been setup with rollerbearings. Transmission: 4-speed Top Loader with 2.78 first gear(wide ratio) specially built with a big input and output shaft by Andy’s Enterprises 1 (818) 963-xxxx. Shifter and linkage is by Hurst. Rear End: 1. Currie Enterprises built 9” Ford rear end with new U.S. gears 3.89 ratio. 2. Steel billet Traction LOC with nodular case. 3. 31 spline axles. Suspension & Traction Control: Front and rear suspension by Globle West, including Globel West upper control arms, springs and Koni front shocks. Rear shocks are custom Cure ride as recommended and sold by GLobel West. Rear leaf springs, bushings and shackles are also by Globel West. John Calvert of Calvert Racing developed the traction control system knowm as “ Cal Tracs” and is used by most of the stock and superstock racers.
