Up for your consideration is a 1970 Pontiac GTO. This car is PHS documented. It was ordered from the factory in Palasade Green with Saddle interior. 400 CID engine and Turbo 400 Transmission. I have owned this car for a few years and now times have changed. My loss will be someones gain. I have spent about 3 thousand on the engine alone. Please look at all the pics carefully and ask questions if you have them. This car was running and driving when I bought it. I disassembled the entire car and began a complete restoration. Lets start with the engine. It has its original 400 block along with the original #13 heads. Original intake also. The engine was brought to a very highly respected engine and transmission builder from my area who was in business for 40 years, During the time he has my drivetrain he fell ill and passed away. The block has had all the machine work done. Cylinerds were bored over 30. The crank is new still wrapped up. I have all the parts to assemble the engine. New bearings. water pump, etc etc etc. The pistons are all brand new with new rods. The camshaft is a brand new never used original camshaft from 1970 still in its cardboard tube. The heads are all done. machined with all new valves etc. again I spent thousand between the machine shop work and parts etc just for the engine alone. I have boxes of new parts and all nuts and bolts. I have the gasket set also to assemble the engine. I bought an original water pump and ss plate . The transmission is not original although I searched high and low for the correct transmission. I found this one in CA and had it delivered to me. It is a correct PY code that came from a 1970 GTO. its the closest thing possible to the original. I have the original 10 bolt rear axle. The Body is in very solid shape. See pics closely. The firewall is great. Rockers and floors are solid. The quaters are in great shape. The trunk had some rust so I cut it out and have a new one placed inside but not welded. The roof is great. I dont have fenders as they were rusty. I have all mouldings except for the front fender moulding. The doors are straight and solid. The cowl is solid. The interior is all original and still has the original seat covers underneath. see pic. The frame has been sandblasted but never painted, It shows surface rust only. Will clean up fine. It is a matching numbers frame as the vin is stamped on the upper left rear rail. The rear spring bucket will need to be welded. It had some previous repairs done. If you can restore a car than this is nothing for you. The nose of the car is all intact and original. The radiator support has some rust at the bottom. can be repaired or replaced. All the wheels are in nice shape. Im sure Im forgettin g some stuff so I will post them as I remeber them. Please ask any questions before bidding. If you are serious about owning this car please prepare your self properly to pick it up. The stands go with it. but you will need a trailor of some sort to put the body on and a pickup fr all the parts etc. Must be picked up by you. I will not deliver it. Up for your consideration is a 1970 Pontiac GTO. This car is PHS documented. It was ordered from the factory in Palasade Green with Saddle interior. 400 CID engine and Turbo 400 Transmission. I have owned this car for a few years and now times have changed. My loss will be someones gain. I have spent about 3 thousand on the engine alone. Please look at all the pics carefully and ask questions if you have them.

This car was running and driving when I bought it. I disassembled the entire car and began a complete restoration. Lets start with the engine.

It has its original 400 block along with the original #13 heads. Original intake also. The engine was brought to a very highly respected engine and transmission builder from my area who was in business for 40 years, During the time he has my drivetrain he fell ill and passed away. The block has had all the machine work done. Cylinerds were bored over 30. The crank is new still wrapped up. I have all the parts to assemble the engine. New bearings. water pump, etc etc etc. The pistons are all brand new with new rods. The camshaft is a brand new never used original camshaft from 1970 still in its cardboard tube. The heads are all done. machined with all new valves etc. again I spent thousand between the machine shop work and parts etc just for the engine alone. I have boxes of new parts and all nuts and bolts. I have the gasket set also to assemble the engine. I bought an original water pump and ss plate .

The transmission is not original although I searched high and low for the correct transmission. I found this one in CA and had it delivered to me. It is a correct PY code that came from a 1970 GTO. its the closest thing possible to the original. I have the original 10 bolt rear axle.

The Body is in very solid shape. See pics closely. The firewall is great. Rockers and floors are solid. The quaters are in great shape. The trunk had some rust so I cut it out and have a new one placed inside but not welded. The roof is great. I dont have fenders as they were rusty. I have all mouldings except for the front fender moulding. The doors are straight and solid. The cowl is solid. The interior is all original and still has the original seat covers underneath. see pic. The frame has been sandblasted but never painted, It shows surface rust only. Will clean up fine. It is a matching numbers frame as the vin is stamped on the upper left rear rail. The rear spring bucket will need to be welded. It had some previous repairs done. If you can restore a car than this is nothing for you. The nose of the car is all intact and original. The radiator support has some rust at the bottom. can be repaired or replaced. All the wheels are in nice shape.
