1967 Volkswagen 21 window deluxe bus. It runs and drives and looks great. It was in long term storage for years, Last registered in 1994. The speedo shows 69,317. In 2010, I bought a newly rebuilt 1600cc dual port engine for it. New battery, Cap and rotor new plugs and wires, Voltage regulator, Air filter, ground wire, Fuel valve, Gas line, Gas filter, all new light bulbs, Sunroof vinyl, Seat covers, VW emblem, Cargo floor mat, Window rubber on the skylights, Windsheild and the three windows in the back. All new door seals. In 2010, I cleaned out and painted the gas tank, Painted the front headlight and the buckets, Painted the steering wheel, All new plain white door panels with new stainless steel trim, I striped the headliner and a new one is $230.00. The bus was given a streamline look some time in the 80's. Where it was lowered in the front and the beltline trim, Bumper overriders where removed. There is some small rust spots on the drivers side bellypans and drivers floor, See photo's. The bulkhead was removed to make it a walkthought but never finshed. I bought a used bulkhead for it, It is tact in but not welded, So it can be a walkthought or leave it a bench. The wheels are porsche 356 style chrome rims The tires are cracked from sitting so they will need to be replaced. Hard to find in this condition where you can enjoy it as is or restore it.
