I am not pressured to sell this bike and if someone is interested I will tell you as good as I can what I know about it...I feel it to be a very reliable and stable bike. I have not put many miles on it in the 2 years I have kept it in my garage. My wife doesn't really enjoy riding like I do, so I want to sell it for garage room...I would consider trade for a bike like a Kawasaki KLR or the like, if someone were wanting more of a street bike. I try to take care of things I own and try to keep them clean. This is a Classic Collectible BMW MACHINE, it is more than a bike. This bike changed biking, if you don't believe me do some research, really it is a piece of art. I hope who ever buys this bike can see that. I just rode this bike to the Nantahala George this weekend it is a nice motorcycle ride, anyway here are some specs: 1990 bike 48xk on speedo, luggage racks, new grips, Metzler tires, new windshield, new front seals and rear mono shock, Russel custom seat, front (dual) and rear disc brakes, drive shaft driven, am/fm cd,mp3 radio, cig. lighter, fuel and water gauges, fuel injected 1000cc, water cooled BMW, runs great could take across the US, power in every gear...really. Too much to remember, all this bike has alot to offer. The only issue I have had with this bike is one....a loose wire on the right turn signal caused both blinkers to blink, a bad ground. This bike is reliable and fun and will haul butt if you want to, but it is a cruiser, not a street rocket, meaning it will cruise the highway or stroll up a country road. have Clear NC title in hand.
