Vehicle Detail

Selling my 1941 Packard 120 Coupe. The car is in overall great shape, ready to cruise or for car show. The car is equiped with air bags that elevate the front of the car independently with dual switches. The compressor is very quiet. The exterior is near perfect with all emblems and chrome, with the exception of the hood emblem. The paint is a pearl white similar to the Audis of the late 90's. Really beautiful and shiny with no rust. The only exterior flaw is the driver side-rear fender hits the tailpipe, consequently denting it whenever scrapped at the back (i.e. steep driveway.) The door handles do not work from the outside, only from the inside. We simply open the front corner window and reach inside to open it. I have the handle that goes on the back to open trunk, removed for theft deterrance. Other than this, the car exterior is near mint. The interior is definitely custom. It has a power driver's seat with a manual passenger seat. The gagues have been converted to digital along with the stereo system. The dashboard, however is original and white to match exterior. No window chips or cracks. Rear windows open sideways, front windows roll down manually. The bottom of the dashboard is exposed, showing cables and wires. This section can be worked on. Headliner is perfect with no rips or wear. It is equipped with custom twitters and speakers with a subwoofer and an amplifier. Currently only the front and rear speakers are working, not the amplifier or sub. The head-unit is a Panasonic CD player with a graphic animation display. The car is equipped with a Chevy 350 motor, transmission and rear end. It runs ok, definitely not a dragster. Transmission shifts great with no slippage or hesitation. The car is not setup to drag or race, but to be cruised. Overall, it is in great shape but not perfect. I am not a Packard expert by any means. What you see in the pics is what I see. I AM NOT AN EXPERT. I need it gone because I simply have too many cars. Car is being sold as is, no warranty. Mileage is unspecified, I don't know exactly what it is. Car is also being sold locally, so I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any time.On Aug-22-10 at 21:44:39 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: There is actually a dime size paint chip with what appears to be a little bit of rust on the bottom right corner of the trunk. It is not peeling or bubbling, simply exposed. On Aug-24-10 at 06:58:28 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE: The front end of the car is actually very modern. It has a Rack and Pinion with a "Wishbone" setup. It looks like a very well done set-up. On Sep-02-10 at 11:04:32 PDT, seller added the following information: CAR WILL NOT BE SOLD UNDER $13,800!
