Let me first start by saying there are plenty of average to poor 928's out there, if you are looking for a bargain this will not be the car for you! If you are a true 928 fan then look no further. I have all records since day 1 for this car including the window sticker! I have every oil change, any time the car was touched by a mechanic, I have the receipt and as you can see in the pictures it is 27 years worth! Recent maintenance in the last 7k include and not limited to: tie rods, synthetic oil, drivers side window motor, alignment, hand brake cable, water pump, thermostat, timing belt, cam belt, tensioner wheel and bolt, sway bar mounts, heater motor, lube chassis, trans and diff. fluid, fuel pump and relay, power steering high pressure hose, etc. This is just in the last 7k! All services have been done on time and documented. The previous list is just a partial list of items that have been done in the course of this Porsche's life. You do not find them like this one and when you do, or at least for me, its a treat to see a nice older Porsche since there is a lot of old basket cases on the road! As you can see in the pictures, all exterior lights function as they should. The headlights flip up like new, the fog lights illuminate at the push of the button. The tires are in great shape, about 95% up front and about 90% in the rear. The wheels are in great shape with little to no wear. The cars paint is fantastic, it has been garaged and you can see my reflection in the pictures! I would rate the overall exterior a strong 9. The inside is like stepping into a new car. The seats are plush and comfortable. The bolsters still hold you in the car. Many of these older cars seats become "flat" after years of use, as you can see these are great. The windows and sunroof all work as they should, the windows roll down quick as when new, the sunroof retracts without a hitch. All controls in the cockpit function as they should. The aftermarket Kenwood radio is accompanied by newer replacement speakers, the sound system is pretty good. The carpets are in great shape, the mats are nearly new as pictured. The headliner is perfect. The rear decklid holds itself up and does not droop or want to fall. The rear cargo area is in great shape with a Porsche cargo mat. I forgot to take pictures of the spare tire, factory tools and jack, they are all there, even the clear panel that goes on top of the spare tire well! The doors shut as they should, you do not have to slam them. I would rate the interior a strong 9 as well. Under the hood is immaculate like all of my cars. Everything I have is clean and detailed. As you can see in the pictures, it looks mint. There are no puddles on the ground under the car or any funny smells while driving. As you can see in the pictures there is a new hood pad as well. The only aftermarket part is a stainless catback Borla Exhaust. It sounds great, not too loud, it does not rattle the cockpit, just a nice enhancement to the 8 cylinder engine! A great car in all aspects that is sure to please everyone. I have priced this car at what I think is fair since you do not find them like this too often!
