We are selling a 1972 Ford Pinto 2.0 automatic transmission. The Car runs great it has never failed to start. When its cold it has a little dead spot in the carberator just off of idle when it warms up the dead spot is gone so it will need a carb rebuild soon. I drive it about 300 miles a week it gets around 22 miles per gallon. Let me start by saying eveything on the car works from the windsheild washer to the taillights all guages,horn,cigarette lighter all lights,blower motor every thing now with that said it needs the liquid line and recharged for the ac to be cold but the compressor dryer evaporator all are in good working condition the line blew about a month ago.The front end is tight ball joints,tie rods are all good. The car has new raditator,plugs,wires,cap,rotor,points,timing belt,drive belts,all hoses,wiper blades,shocks on the rear hatch,all 4 tires 155-80-13s on the front and 205-60-13s on the rear.A new c4 transmission with shift kit I was going to make it a 2.3 turbo car but plans have changed I sold the turbo motor on ebay two weeks ago. The brakes are all good the rear differental was just serviced oil just changed.The car has some minor dings normal for a car this old with the original finish. There is one small spot and the right rear in front of the tire that is going to rust through if its not fixed prtty quick see picture 2. Other than this spot the car is solid the floors are solid and rust free there is some surface rust in the spare tire well the hatch was leaking but i replace the weather strip and there are no leaks now.It does have the jack tire tool and spare tire the hatch back floor mat is gone.The car does not appear to have ever been wrecked.I am the third owner the mileage on the car is correct 94,465. The Black Pony interior is in great condition the dash pad is N.O.S. replaced 1 year ago the seats front and rear have just been professionally recovered factory correct black. It will need carpet the headliner is in good condition but it need to be reattached in the rear its starting to fall. Overall this is a great little car it does have some squeeks and rattles but its a untouched 38 year old car the only thing i would say it needs soon is the carb rebuilt and shocks need to be replaced the bushings are almost gone on the lower shock mounts and the shocks are a little soft. Fly in and drive it home I would have no problem getting in the car and going anywhere.
