1966 GMC DAILY DRIVER Here we have a very nice and rare 66 GMC truck.this truck is a daily driver, it's solid,strong, and dependable. I have too many projects in my shop and this one must go. I'm the 4th owner, it's been in Arkansas it's whole life and still has most of it's 44 year old paint still on it! IT'S NEVER BEEN REPAINTED!! how many old trucks have you seen lately with factory paint? you can really see what your getting with this truck. heck i even have the owners manual and warranty book that goes with it. ( ITS OUT OF WARRANTY BY THE WAY) it has a couple spots here and there look at the pics ,it's not perfect, but it's very solid! I sprayed under coating in the floor of the cab. It has new tires, rally rims dressed up with spinners,new starter,new sending unit, new exhaust system. the running gear is 350/350. the 350 auto tranny is pretty new with about 2000 miles on it. it shifts out great. the engine is a 350 with a 4 barrel on top, it's a strong running engine with no smoke or any other issues, this truck will run very strong down the road and get you there quick.i have no idea how many miles are on the engine. the odometer shows 91k and some change could be 91k or 191k i dont know. i've tried to describe this truck in detail the best i can, but you wont trully appreaciate it untill you drive it. i have a 03 ex cab chevy and this 66 rides and drives better than it.I've been on 350 mile trips with no issues. It DOES NOT have A/C, PS,PB but any of that could be added. it does have a new radio/cd player.the brakes work good. All glass is good,maybe small crack in windsheild. heater and blower works great.fuel gauge is a little off. it runs out at a quarter tank. i put a seat cover on cause a bad spot on drivers side.i didn't take a pic of it but it still has original seat cover on it.This truck can be left as is or totally restored.
