Vehicle Detail
MAKE ME A OFFER ITS GOT TO GO IM FINISHING ANOTHER PROJECT!!! I was told a Warner Brothers car used in far off scenes and barn crash shots. This car was not a running plush shot car with tan interior. Not all of them were “done up” that way SURPRISE haha. A good friend of mine worked on the set for a few years and he looked it over good and it passed his test if that mean a dog poop to ya haha. I have the title to the car as well as the fender tag. All of the numbers on the body match as well as the numbers matching motor. The car is a 318 car and is originally green. The numbers tell me it had a black vinyl top, rear defrost, light package, power steering, am radio, 3 speed wiper, remote chrome drivers mirror, rally cluster, bucket seats, back up lights, auto trans, tinted windows , A/C, trunk light, deck lid molding, dual exhaust, and chrome exhaust tips, noise reduction package, rear speaker, red line tires and the car was sold in the US. The car has manual drums. The body is straight and the bottoms of the quarters are good they were replaced at one time. All the windows open and the doors shut very strong. The car had a factory sway bar. I have the title and the mileage is 020,996 I was told original but who’s to say… The car has sat for a VERY long time out west in California and needs a complete restoration. This is a project car it does not run. The trunk is gone but I suppose that didn’t matter, I have a decent original trunk floor for it, I like original better, however they make them new and they are very inexpensive, I do not have the trunk extensions to secure the quarters at the bottom but they do make them new and they are cheap now too.. The door jams are nice and the bottoms of the doors are in good shape. Car has no gauges, radio or glove box. The push bar has been cut off I guess to put on another car but you can see where it was. Dash frame and pad are intact. Air ducts and vents are present along with a nice heater box. All the glass is in the car. Car needs front floors back is very solid no pin holes. Car needs a new rear valance and trunk floor all the rest I have is very minor rust. There are no back seats or door panels. I have a TONE of parts that go with the car they are all in the floor boards. Around and in the windshield channel is in great shape, there is a little rust around the back window and is very fixable, the top is in great shape. The grill is in very nice shape with its vacuum pods all the wires and plumbing. The tail lights are in nice shape and not all faded or cracked. I really don’t know what a car like this goes for as a well known “famous” car so I am selling it as a plane jane Charger because of my lack of knowledge on jazz like this. I’m listing it this way because there are many people looking for General Lee’s and others don’t care and would do the car how they want it anyway or make it original. I didn’t want to do away with one and a the same time didn’t want a General Lee so I ran across another and I’m restoring that one, mine needs quarters floors trunk and so on, FUN! Haha. I’m asking a lot so talk me down and beat me up because at the end of the “day” I’m going to take the best offer I receive, you will not insult me with a low ball Ill just say no if its too low. This is a great project for a full restoration. Great conversation piece. Chargers are hard to find thanks to Warner Brothers… sad.. I have the car listed LOCALLY and reserve the right to end the auction early. Please call with any questions I will answer any questions you have. Call me any hr. if I don’t pick up please leave me a msg. Sold as is where is. I have no problem storing this indoors for a few weeks if shipping over seas or in the US is needed $500 due as a non refundable deposit. Call Larry (909)855-7853
