1963 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. I got this car about 3 months ago from the California desert, right now the border of AZ. The car runs and drives pretty well, although I have only taken it on 10 mile trips at a time. It has the original 390 that runs good, but I have not performed a tune up on it, just put some gas in it and started right up. The guy I bought it from said it had been sitting for about 6-8 years. The transmission has been changed to the new style (it is not a REVERSE at the bottom). It has what most of us call a "normal" shift pattern. Trans shifts smoothly and quietly. The body is in pretty good shape. The clear coat is peeling off, but it looks pretty good where is washed it with a scouring pad and them buffed it. There are only a few rust spots on her, and they are very small. You can see them in the pictures. One on the passenger door, and one of the floor of the car on the drivers side. the windshield has a crack in it and will need replacing. Trunk is solid. Bumpers and all chrome is in good shape. Lower bumper ends are good. Stainless shows will but could use some polishing. I have all the trim peices that are not on the car. The rear taillight is out, but comes with the car. The old owner kept everything about the car. It comes with spec data on that car, and a repair manual. The interior is in great shape. The seats must have been redone not so long ago, they look great. The door panels also were redone, except for the top part of them that is showing a few cracks and some discoloration. The package tray will need replacing. I hate to let this one go because it is so solid, but I can only have one project at a time, and the hearse is the winner (or loser if you ask my wife). I am sure that I am missing some things about the car, so please dont hesitate to ask any questinons. I answer emails pretty quick. The car is located in Saugerties NY 12477.
