Vehicle Detail

Im selling my 1970 Dodge Charger SE I bought in 2006. The car was running and driving when I bought it on ebay for $14,000. I had it shipped from NC to RI. Shortly after I got it I found out it was basically a bondo bucket. The car needed everything. I have $10,000 in sheet metal replacement. At first I bought a decent 69 front clip when new aftermarket parts werent available for $2000. I then didnt use any of it when the new parts came out. Here's just some of the major parts I replaced. New AMD front fenders $1400 New AMD hood $700 New amd front bumper $300 NOS front lower valance $500 Classic body designs full rear quarter $2600 Arizona rust free doors and trunk lid. $1300 All floor pans replaced Trunk pan replaced Rear lower valance and corners replaced. Trunk extensions replaced. Outer wheelhouses replaced Custom frame connectors tied into floor pans and rockers. Hemi torque boxes front and rear tied into frame connectors. Rear shackle mounts reinforced like a hemi car. This is now a full frame car. I have 90 pictures showing everything you get with this project. Its a rust free roller. It was on a rotissorie and completely media blasted before any work began. The body line and gaps are perfect. I Purposefully have it in bare metal so show everything. No primer is hiding rust and bondo. If you see brown in any of the pics its primer, not rust. The work done was top notch. Every panel was treated with weld thru primer and properly plug welded. Every plug weld was ground down smooth. The trunk pan seams were even filled with body filler and sanded. The underneath of the car was hand sanded for dozens of hours. Its so clean you could eat off it. The rear window filler panel is original, the firewall, inner fenders, door jambs, front and rear frame rails etc are all original. The car was structally rust free, only body panels needed replacement. The roof was a vinyl top and it was rusted. The only issue with this car is the roof is wavy due to some hack trying to weld in a patch. It was blasted and there is no rust anywhere on the roof, however theres some filler there. I was going to put on a vinyl top so I didnt really care. The car needs to be painted and the interior redone and suspension rebuilt. It still needs restoration but you have a rust free body to start with. I just threw in the K member and and steering system to make the car a roller. Look at the pics what you see is what you get. As you can see the grille and seats are mint. I just had them recovered. The car is a 70 charger SE with P/S A/C and power disc brakes. It was also a export car. I have the buidsheet and clear title. I wanted to make it to a 69 so I bought everything for a 69. The grille cost me $2250 alone, I have the original 70 dash frame with the vin still on it. However the dash and colum I was going to use is from a 69. Please see the pics on the photobucket album. Email me for my phone # if you would like to discuss the car. Its located in Warwick RI right near the airport. DO NOT BID ON MY CAR IF YOU ARE OUT OF THE USA!! I can install the grille, dash, bumper and box all remaining parts and put them in the car for shipping. On Aug-26-10 at 09:30:40 PDT, seller added the following information: For the people without common sense this is a rotisserie restoration project that needs to be finished. No, this charger does not run and drive. I do not have time to play games with dreamers. Bid only if you have the $ and can make arrangements to transport the car. Payment due within 7 days after auction end. I will cancel bids from people with less than 10 feedback.
