Second California owner since Oct. 1990 with 7,400 miles then on the clock. Maintained since that date here in Sacramento by Barber's Shop, an Alfa/Volvo specialty shop. They claim this is the best extent Milano in No. Cal. I was 70 last May and the Recaro seats are just too difficult for me to easily enter and exit any more. I have driven it less than 1,000 miles over this past year and its time to find another custodian. I will retain my '58 DeSoto hardtop, a '56 Alfa Giulietta spyder, a "73 BMW Bavaria (my first new car), and our BMW Z3 Coupe and X3 for everyday use. This car has the european headlights, a Viper alarm, two sets of logo floor mats, and a trunk full of spare parts. I have religiously maintained this vehicle and it has a new windshield, the R-134 AC conversion, a custom made all aluminum radiator, and a recent brake conversion from the lately unreliable ABS to a new standard power brake system. All synchros are as new (box rebuilt), new clutch with master and slave cyls., a new power steering rack and lower ball joints, the starter and alt. are rebuilt, a new set of Watts link bushings, and there are 10 k on Kumho Ecsta Sport 205/50R/15 tires. I use Castrol 20-50 oil and change the oil and filter every 5 k. I have all the maintenance records from when it first came into my possession. This is a perfectly balanced driver's car with the rear transaxle and clutch with inboard disc brakes and this model was the German Deutschecar (Euro NASCAR) champion for Alfa for 3 or 4 years running against BMW, Mercedes, Brit. Ford, etc. in the factory 3 liter class.
