Up for bids 1956 Dodge Pickup, This truck is a 1/2 ton and is prime for restoration. The motor does not run any more but ran up to the time it was parked in 1978. This truck has a clean title and has a 3 on the tree Manual Transmision. The enigine is a 272 which is rare in these trucks I believe ther were only 2500 made with the 272 V8. All the glass is intact the side windows could be replaced but that is just flat glass so no sweat doing that. the windsheild and the back wrap around window are perfect. The box is wood of course so that has rotted out but that is easily replaced. The truck has been stored inside for the last 20 + years. I am unsure in the exact mileage but that is not a real issue as it needs to be redone any how. Please do not hesitate to ask questions on this auction. Here is what I know, It is a V8 and there was at one time red ram painted on the valve covers. At one time I google searched it and it said that they did make a 272 non- hemi Red Ram and put it in limited trucks. I am assuming this is one of them it was used in more cars in this era. If it is not it would be the 270 ci V8. Sorry for any confusion.
