Rust free body, no winters, stored indoors. Clean title Turn-key, all original except wear items or as noted, nothing missing. Features include removable T-Tops with sun shades and storage bags, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, power brakes, a/c, cruise control, power antenna, rear defroster, electric pop-up headlights, 4 wheel disk brakes, rack steering, independent suspension, 5 speaker stereo. Engine is the original 1.6 ltr intercooled supercharged 4AGZE equipped with on dash premium or regular fuel selector switch. This factory installed switch allows you to temporarily run on regular gas when premium is not available. Engine starts, runs and has oil pressure as was when new. Full synthetic oil used and changed frequently. Transmission is the extremely rare optional 4 speed auto with lockout overdrive and push button ECT (electronic control transmission) making this the quickest 1st generation MR2 made. The on dash ECT button puts the transmission into a race/power mode where rpm shift points increase and engagement characteristics change. Yes this 4 speed is fun to drive and yes it is even quicker than the 5 speed manual. I believe the reason it is rated quicker is because the 5 speed manual loses boost from the “roots” style supercharger between shifts, whereas the 4 speed auto ECT retains boost through the shifts. Original lightweight aluminum wheels. All original glass in like new condition. All weather stripping is like new. Even the T-Tops do not leak. Exterior is Dark Blue Pearl; paint is good, still shines and only a couple small dings not noticable unless you inspect closely, paint is orignal except for on drivers door and drivers quarter, all original metal. Interior is blue and extremely clean. No cracks in the dash or tears in the seats. Carpet is good as well. Still has the original premium 5 speaker stereo with upgraded speakers including under seat amplified subwoofer (I will include the original speakers as well if wanted). New struts on all 4 corners, recent timing belt replacement, recent supercharger belt replacement, recent a/c charge. Includes the original owners manual, warranty book, tool kit, jack, spare tire and maintenance receipts. All factory plaquards and diagrams are intact and in their original locations. This is one of the best surviving first generation MR2 SC in North America and it can only become more collectable. There are not many of these MR2 SC's remaining in this condition, and I doubt that even 10% of them have the optional 4 speed lockout ECT transmission. Dark Blue Pearl was also not very common.
