Here is your chance to own a true unmolested classic. Up for auction with no reserve and a very realistic starting bid is my 1983 Suzuki GS1100GL. I bought this bike 5 years ago from the original owner who bought it new in Jan of 1984. Bike has been dealer maintained and adult owned its entire life, and the only reason I am selling it is because I just don't ride that much anymore, Last year I drove this bike a total of 50 miles, and 0 miles this year, notice the 2009 registration sticker in the pictures. This bike is all original and comes with original tool kit and owners manual, has shaft drive, crash bar, highway pegs, self canceling turn signals, and leather side bags, runs like new, here is a video of the bike running http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbQBqBkpv2g I also have a full front windshield and rear luggage rack/sissy bar that I removed from the bike when I bought it. Okay for the good stuff... the bike has ultra low miles on it, no rips in the ORIGINAL seat. Starts right up and runs like new. Battery is 2 years old, front tire was replaced 2 years ago due to dry rot The only bad things to point out are....there is a ding in the right side of the fuel tank, there is no paint damage to it just a soft ding,(see pictures) I was told by a paintless dent guy the it could be fixed from the inside of the tank, by working the dent out for about $100.00. The chrome on the front exhaust pipes is not as nice as the pictures make it look and does have some discoloration and small pitting/rusting from driving in the rain. Although the paint overall is in great shape there are 2 or 3 chips in the gas tank at the seam area (see pictures)(not in the face of tank) not a big deal but I thought I should mention it. Local pick up only, If you wish to ship the bike you must make all necessary arraignments, I will help load, and do what I can but I will not crate up the bike for shipment.
