I really had no thoughts of ever selling this truck but due to personal problems its got to go. The truck was brought up from New Mexico and has a clean title, NO TITLE ISSUES. All the hard, expensive work has been done, it just needs to be finished the way you want. I've been working on it on and off for nearly 3 years. The truck is a daily driver not a show truck. It has a super solid body and straight as an arrow frame. This was probably a utility work truck and has small bumps and bruises. The truck is not show quality but will definitely turn heads when on the road. I believe the truck was green. I did the gloss black paint around the bottom, bed, grill, interior floor and the black stripes with tape. All the brackets are there to put an original bed in it. The bed in it now is new 3/4" marine ply wood, double sealed and painted with oil base Rustolium paint. This is not bolted down yet. I was going to put 5 aluminum skid strips on it. All the bodywork that was done seams to be exterior dents and dings, no thru rust. It is all original suspension except for the coil springs in the rear. They can be easily removed. The frame and under body has been hand scraped, wire brushed, rust neutralized and painted with Rustolium Professional Gloss Black paint. The brake system has been completely redone, all new wheel cylinders hoses, master cylinder. The steel lines were in good condition and didn't need to be replaced. The truck is an original automatic. I replaced it with a Turbo 350 that has been completely redone, It has a Blue Steak rebuild kit in it with a new planetary gear and output shaft. The engine is a high nickel 350 block 3970010. Both the matting head surfaces have been shaved and all bearing and cam surfaces have been machined. The Master Rebuild Kit installed Contains: Pistons.....Rings....Rod Bearings...Main Bearings...Cam Bearings...Camshaft....Lifters....Freeze Plugs....Oil Pump....Valve Stem Seals...Rear Main Bearing Seal... Timing Set.. Complete Fed Mogal Gasket Set. Complete ARP Bolt set The heads are a completely rebuilt pair of small block Chevy cylinder heads. These heads are casting number 3973487X. These are the best of all of the 76cc GM heads. The work done to these heads are as follows: 1. Heads have been oven cleaned and magnafluxed. These heads have no crack repair or damage. 2. 16 new brass valve guides have been installed 3. Fresh 3 angle valve job preformed in Serdi 100. Valve size is 2.02 x 1.60" 4. Heads have been resurfaced in CBN high speed milling machine. .005 removed from both 5. These heads have been assembled with all new top quality components. New SI Industries stainless steel swirl polished valves, Genuine PC teflon valve stem seals, and Elgin Industries 1.250 dual valve springs (these springs provide 90lbs closed pressure and are good to .500 lift). 6. Wysco aluminum 1.5 ratio 3/8 roller rockers. New high performance HEI electronic distributor. This is a complete billet distributor with cap, rotor, and coil. This is brand new, with absolutely no rebuilt parts. Hi-performance control module with brass terminals on the cap. Has hardened gear and a capacitor that prevents radio static. Has a vacuum advance. New Edelbrock Stelth Dual Plane Intake Vintage Holley 4140 double pump carb New Hi-Pro Shorty Headers New 2 1/2" Flow Master Stainless Steel exhaust system/ chrome tips are used but nice. The truck needs to be wired, I was going to do a custom job with all toggles.; I have an original replacement harness from another 57 truck that I bought on Ebay, no guarantee on that harness The truck has 4 very good B F Goodrich tires. I have the original tail lights, side mirror, heater and some interior parts Needs some type windshield wiper system.
