1962 Impala SS No Reserve I am selling most of my project cars. I simply do not have enough time and due to a recent back injury, I seriously doubt I can continue my hobby as in years past, so I must sell them. So I pulled out all of my projects from the barns and on ebay they are going.... What we have here is a 62 Impala SS hardtop. It came from a storage auction of a body shop. The shop had already started work on the body and frame. The frame looks to have been blasted and powder coated already. Don't let the pictures fool you, the pans in the car are extremely solid! Look carefully, do you see any day light poking thru on the pictures? Now some part hound started to cut out the seat track on the driver side, other than that they are nice and solid, SWEET!! The trunk pan was in the process of being replaced, so the whole lower trunk is in the care and awesome one peice rust free pan. The face trey was being replace and the replacement panel is laying in the trunk. The shelf was dry and rust free. The trunk lid is solid and rust free, although has some surface rust, but that's nothing. The drip rails on one side need replacing and the lower window edge needs some work. However this is a real nice body worthy of restoration. The car still has the SS grab bar. It was an auto car. It has no motor nor transmission. The car rolls and the body is just sitting on the frame. After this car is restored you will have a solid investment that will be worth some serious money. I do have lots of extra parts for sale seperately so when you pick up the car, ask and I will show you around my parts shop. This car is sold as is, no title, just bill of sale. No buy it now. Some lucky guy is going to get an awesome project. Now for the legal stuff....ONLY SERIOUS bidders. If you have bad feedback, don't bid, I will cancel your bid. An immediate non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due at action close, NO EXCEPTION. The balance due within 3 days, NO EXCEPTION. Those who do not comply will be reported to ebay. This is not a game. Now, I am willing to store the car for up to a two weeks, then a $2.00 a day storage fee applies.
