This is a 1930 model A Hot Rod , It is a TRADITIONAL built hot rod with all the correct parts! It was featured in the March 2010 HOT ROD DELUXE . It is a coupe body channeled 3 inches over the frame, chopped 4 inches, the frame is been stacked in the rear and fully boxed, Its got a 1955 Buick 322 Nailhead Motor, block and heads all gone threw, a Vintage Polished Weiand 3 deuce intake with GM 2GCs with Helling and Stelling type helmet Air cleaners feed by a rare polished fuel block with a mooneyes pressure gauge, Lokar accelerator cable Every thing is Chromed (water neck,thermostat housing,valley pan,road draft tube, valve covers and the hard to find spark plug covers) New nos water pump,Custom built lake pipes with baffles in them, Ford gemmer box out of a F1 Ford with standard play, front end is a chassis eng. 4 inched droped I beam with 40 ford spindles chromed 40 for backing plates and drums, all steering is d.o.m tubing with new ford tie rods, chrome steering hoop, 40 ford wishbones spit with ford tie rods in them, wheels are 1940 ford steel wheels rare narrow 16X4 in Front and 16X4 1/2 in rear Wheels are Firestone Champion Deluxe Blackwalls, Transsmision is a GM Saginaw 4 Speed with a Hurst shifter (cal custom pearl knob) hooked to a rare aluminum bellhousing the flywheel has surfaced and adapetted to a new style GM 11 inch clutch, Rear is a 55 Pontiac with 3.73 gears mounted with a Pete and Jakes Ladder bar kit and a posies rear transverse spring, shocks are all n.o.s oil filled , Battery is located in the trunk, gas tank is a ten gallon model T tank Interior is a caravan seat frame all redone, the dash is model A with a pearl drum wrap fr vintage drums,, all glass is antique bronze tinted there is no glass or regulators in the doors however, and handles are only on the outside true hot rod, dash is filled with mooneyes gauges , mooneyes tach, no speedo,Headlight switch is hidden behind the steering column, battery disconect is between the channeled floor and door,no wipers,stops real good for drums on all corners its got a new corvette master cyl. for 60's vette under the floor, the Wieand sticker is a real water transfer from the 60's Body has been completely redone all new patch panels and a ribbed roof insert, primed with PPG dp90 ,wheels and firewall are painted with PPG DCU Concept Urathane, Body is painted with PPG ALK200 synthetic Enamel that is flattened It is NOT primer it is paint!! so it wont get that chalky rub off like primer and wont scratch like primer and is sealed because primer is open and porous, this is a real hot rod Loud and Mean! no power steering and bias ply tires...so it dosnt ride like a cadillac.
