1925 Cadillac.. V63.. 85HP.. V8 ..Landau sedan..3 speed manual trans. First Cadillac series V63 to be a full classic designation by Classic Car Club of America.... Now has clear Calif title after much expense ..Interesting history 1995 Tacoma News tribune..What I was told when I purchased car in 1999..valve job just completed, news head gaskets installed but head never tightened..combustion chambers and top end look exceptionally clean with no ridge on cylinders ..motor turn over easy with original hand crank ..Carburetor rebuilt says previous owner, right exhaust manifold needs welded at the outlet flange,I think all original exhaust system is there,gas tank looks solid with no rust visible,gas gauge and cap look good, carburetor is not bolted down just setting there...I never tried to start engine but should be fairly easy..Wood wheels look sound..have replacement right front fender goes with car ..99.5% complete +- ..has rust mostly on right side splash apron and front fender,also some rust on luggage rack area and left splash apron..interior fair..left rear drivers side door pillar wood need repaired..top fabric is bad, but top wood seems OK..as the rest of wood in car seems OK ,but I did not tear it apart to inspect every inch of car,.missing one or two inside door pulls,clock is nice but not mounted..body is aluminum and steel combo...132 inch wheel base..Huge car for the period with floor heater ,one could have bought 10 or 12 model T fords for the same price in 1925.. possible swap .have xerox repair manual goes with car and history 3 ring binder..more pics available, Speedometer says mileage 12,700 ,3 tires hold air for weeks ,one tire holds air for one day ,will roll OK..front lights look OK ,radiator looks OK ,front splash apron looks good with crank hole cover there..car sold as is where is...car has some rust and some bad wood, good project that I wanted to do but ran out of time and health.. ..Spencer...760-938-2250.
