I sell Volvo parts and I know the old Volvo's -- this is a good one. The mileage is high but this car is better than cars I have seen with 75,000 miles. THIS CAR HAS BEEN WELL CARED FOR! This car has many many years of service left . This was my personal car for over a year. I have decided to sell it because our family is growing and we need a mini van with more room. This wagon has the desirable factory 5 speed manual transmission and 3rd row kids seat in the back. The car runs and drives great. Has no mechanical or driving issues. The overall condition of this car is good. The body is very good. It has the original paint. No paint work anywhere. The car has never been hit. The previous owners took good care of this car. This is a California Car. I recently moved out to Missouri from California last month. It has NO RUST anywhere and paint is nice and still glossy. It looks great for being a 1988. It drives great - period. I drove it out from California to Missouri and it ran perfect all the way. It's 22 plus years old but seriously it really runs and drives good. It starts up everyday and drives and brakes straight and it gets very good mpg. The 5 speed shifts great! You can look at my feedback -- I don't screw anyone around. This car is ok and you'll be happy. You won't break down as soon as you get a mile from my house - it's honestly a very good car. Not perfect but darn good. Upgraded Volvo Turbo 15" Wheels New Tires and alignment (2 months ago) Oil just changed (last week) New fan clutch (3 months ago) New catalytic converter and new exhaust from cat back. (Done about a year and half ago) Nice CD & Stereo Good California title in my name -- no salvage or anything like that. Tags good thru August. Has a tow hitch on it for light towing jobs. Has a class 2 -- up to 3,500 lbs The Bad: The odometer is broken and has been replaced by previous owner. The one they replaced it with has different mileage but also broke. So, when you look at carfax it will show mileage dropping -that's the reason. Please note: 225,000 is an honest guess at how many miles are on it. The odometer is still broken but speedometer works. The coolant gauge is not accurate all the time. The car does not run hot or anything. A/C blows warm -- needs to be recharged. Compressor is ok. Rear tail lights should be replaced --starting to crack. Interior dashboard and other plastic items have small cracks here and there. Front seats are cracked under sheepskin seat covers. Seat cushions are still good -- just some normal cracking on seats. Disclosures: Car is sold "as is" Mileage is an estimate and not actual. Car is 22 years old.
