Ok here is the deal on my S-10, I got this truck from a friend who owe's me money. I was going to sell it ASAP but after driving it I kept it around for awhile it's been alot of fun to drive, but now it's time to go. So here is what I know it is a 4.3 litre V-6 Auto, most recent updates were a new fuel pump and filter, new plugs and wires and the transmission was rebuilt with a shift kit added other than that it's stock V-6, the truck runs and shifts smooth and doesn't use oil and the oil stays clean. It was painted about 5yrs ago and still looks good except for a few scratches here and there. There was proably some bondo used in this truck but I can't see any bubbling up, on the pass door where they shaved the handles the paint has cracked there (not ugly). This truck has switches that open the doors which ar not working I havent even looked to see why I just open them from the inside. The CD player works but has no antenna so its just CD's only. The back tires will need replaced in 10K miles or so but the front tires have about 85% left. The truck is lowered but rides pretty good until you hit railroad track at 60mph then it will jar you a little (it did me anyway). The top is metal and just bolts on with four bolt ( I can put it on myself) I have never had it in the rain but I do beleive it would leak the windows have to be pulled up by hand I was told by someone that knew about these trucks that there is a kit for $600 that includes the top and everything needed to make this truck perfect and weather proof. Now with that said this truck looks good with or without the top and it is fun to drive and reliable. I would'nt consider it a show truck but it is pretty sharp.
