Vehicle Detail
What your bidding on is 1967 Sport Satelitte Convertible, this meticulousy restored beauty started life in CA and this is reflected in the rust free original panels. The car was ordered radio and heater delete and still retains the original rare factory installed cover plates. The entire car was disasembled and placed on a rotisery where all the original road grim and undercoating was stripped. It then went thru a very complete repaint that included the under-body, exterior body panel and interior floorboards. The car was reassembled with each component receiving the same level of attention, all reusable parts where painted with at least 3 coates of paint and hand sanded between coats. All rubber seals, gaskets where bought NOS or the best repos available. All brightwork was sent out and polished, front and rear bumbers were rechromed to show chrome conditon. All electrical wireing was replaced with NOS or the best that the after market community had to offer. The dash and guages were sent out and restored to better than new conditon. The plastic bezels and armrest chrome pieces where sent out and replated. Both front and rear seats received new covers from Legendary interiors. The correct convertible grain top and a solid glass back-lite installed. The Hydraulic top motor and lines are New and fuction flawlessly. Rounding out the interior are new Door panels and new carpet. The grill was replaced with one an NOS piece which is becoming almost impossible to find at any price, complimenting the grill are two NOS headlight bezels. The Taillight lenses and bezels are also new and flawless, the trunk panel was also sent out and flawlessly restored. The windshield is new and tint-shaded, with a brand new seal installed, the door glass is original in excellent condition. Power is provided by a 440 which has been completly gone thru. The 727 automatic transmission has also been rebuilt with a deeper Mopar performance chrome oil pan, and shifts firm and kicks down as it should. the radiator was recored and all rubber hoses and belts are new. The distibuter is and aftermarket electronic unit for reliability. The water pump and water pump houseing are aluminum Mopar performance pieces. The starter is a lightweight high torque unit. The carburation is provided by Edelbrock I believe it is a 650cfm unit. The car sports duel GTX style exhaust with factory mufflers. The rear springs are Hemi pieces with Gas Shocks on all four corners. All brake lines and fue lines are new as well as the Gas tank and all of the brake components. The car sports a GTX Hood and GTX style fuel cap. The hood ornament is new as well as the drivers side mirror. This is an well-restored unique CA rust free convertible that I have invested over 50,000 dollars to restore. The car shows well and has won a few trophy's, world of wheels and a few local shows. The potential at this point is endless, show it, drive it or continue to achieve a higher level and perhaps install a Hemi. I have bought a few extra Items that I was thinking of installing that can be negotiated with the sale the car. I have a clear MN title. Please feel free to contact me to discuss the details or have the car inspected.
