This is a No reserve auction for a 1979 Chevy Nova. 4.1, 250 cu inch I volunteer for a non profit charity called Step 13, (www.step13.org). We have a car donation program. This Nova was donated to us. As a result I don't have a whole lot of history with it. What I do know is: the outside is in decent shape. The driver's seat is pretty degredated. It runs but our mechanic says the engine should be rebuilt b/c it leaks and smokes. Tranny slips. Radio doesn't work. No air. Glass is good. Lights and blinkers work. Having said all that if you're interested in restoring a nova this one is pretty solid. While odometer says 32,000 I have no idea if it's 32K or 132K but likely the latter. Regardless, the title will say 'O'. Colorado DMV does that as a matter of routine on cars more than 10 years old. I can't remember if it's a 6 cyl or v8 but if you're looking you probably know. If you plan on bidding and you live out of state I always suggest to people that they transport cars just because we don't have any history with them. I hate to see people fly in, get in and just drive off. In this particular case I don't think you'd get very far driving this car off into the sunset. We have a dealer's license so all the dealer paperwork has to be completed before pick up and if you live in Colorado we have to collect the applicable taxes. But we will give you a temp tag and registration. Also if it sells below $600 we will add $150 fee for all the dealer paperwork. That's pretty much the extent of my knowledge! We don't have a 'Buy it Now' price but will consider a strong offer. If you buy it we need a deposit withing 24 hours and full payment within 3 days. In addition to wanting it paid for in full within 3 days we'd also like it picked up within 3 days. We're in downtown Denver and space is at a premium. Obviously, if you're far away we can try to work with you but we don't want to have to store it for more than a week. We need it moved ASAP. So please don't bid if you can't get it soon.
