For Sale is my 1979 Buick Regal T-Type Very rare with the removable glass roof. It is in over 95% original condition as I know. I even have the original 8-track. The paint has been resprayed once to original color but I do not know when. The paint is faded and dirty but looks good from 20 feet. There is very little rust and the car runs and drives very smooth and quiet. The frame and underside look very clean. The car has only 159,700 original kilometres but I drive it daily and that number will go up until it is sold. The interior has no rips or tears in the seats and dash and they are in good condition. The carpet is faded and the interior plastics have yellowed a bit but these are very easy to paint. The small headliner has started sagging and I may fix that soon if the weather cools down a bit here. The engine is the original 4.9 litre 301ci V8 with an auto trans and console shift. It has power windows, drivers seat, cruise control and tilt. Everything works except the clock. There is no AC but why would you want it as the roof comes off. The roofs do not leak at all and the bags for the roof look like brand new. This is a very rare and fun to drive car that I am driving daily. It could easily be brought back to mint original shape with paint and some interior work or would make and awesome Low Rider or Custom or Hot Rod Cruiser. I have a very reasonable reserve on this car and I encourage local buyers to come view the car in person. I will not ship the car or make any arrangements to ship it. The winning bidder will be required to pay a NON REFUNDABLE $500 deposit within 48 hours of winning the auction. This deposit must be paid within 48 hours of auction closing and can be paid by cash or Pay Pal. The remainder of the payment must be paid by cash or Pay Pal within 7 days of auction closing, the car must be removed by this time as well unless you have contacted me and we make other arrangements. I will not accept bids from ebayers with less than 10 purchases or less than 100% feedback unless you contact me first. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. I will not sell to international buyers, Canadian or US buyer only. This is a very cool and rare car but I do not have the time to restore it as planned.
